I have a bubblebucket setup times 12 and have seen many struggle to deal with filling and res changes-try this -has made life MUCH easier
Get this:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000HE9YEM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
And then a 1 1/2" holesaw and drill access hole in lid between netpot and edge-easy access for adding or draining each bucket- get 5 gal. bucket, ph & fill 1 gal. jugs with water for top offs or adding nutes.Just leave enough room under scrog to access- easy enough. And with tent, turn back buckets towards access doors. And cover holes with cardboard to prevent algae growth

if i had 12 buckets, i'd do a rdwc/under current setup.
Still working on it- but have 2 tents(4 by 8 and 5 by 5) so 6 per tent currently- have most of my plumbing parts for rdwc- but posted this for all the bubble bucket people that are struggling with the fill/drain issue

no, i gotcha. good advice. when you get your rdwc built, you'll wish you had done it sooner. pH is more stable, fewer top offs and if you add a chiller, overall growth is way better too in my opinion

I wish I made the switch years ago. pH drifts 5.6 to 6.1 over the course of a week. Water stays constant 66F with a chiller. Growth is insane. You can feed higher. One res to worry about. No more emptying and filling 12 buckets. No more pHing 12 buckets.
