I would like to give a helping hand if need be.
It's given that I have not been on this forum for long but I have been on forums in general for many years now.
I have been a reader of this forum for a while now though and I enjoy it a lot.
I've done pretty much all there is to do on such forums; admin, super-mod, mod etc.

I have never been one on a Cannabis forum though but how should that differ :)

Anyway, a bit about myself:

I'm 25 years old, from Denmark, diverse ^^

I'm a very active member of the forums I'm on and I try to be as helpful as I can.
In the short time I've been here I've spent a lot of time in the Newbie sections especially to help out people who need assistance since I've been growing for many years and love helping people with their grows.

My certain areas of expertise lies in:

General growing (soil, hydro, aero).
Advanced growing (soil, hydro, aero).
Indoor growing.
Harvesting and Curing.
Grow Room Design.
Plant/Growing issues/problems.

I do not have any preferences however.


I'm also a very easy going person who keeps a calm in any situation and can handle most 'stuff'.
I know all the rules of the forums of course and all the functions.
I have good general knowledge and I will assist in any way I can.

It would be an honor if I were able to moderate the "Grow Room Design and Setup" forum. Designing grow rooms happens to be my favorite part about indoor growing. I have a background in electricity, and I have designed and constructed multiple set-ups.
I also have a lot of freetime on my hands so I'll be able to be here quite often!

I really hope I get chosen for this! :D Thanks!

I would like to moderate a hydroponic forum or newbie central.

Ive been a member quite a while so i know the site,i have grown in soil for over 20 years off & on & the last 5 years ive had a steady grow,been full time hydroponics for 4 years now where i manage 8 tables for a co-op,i know hydroponics very good & soil is an old freind as well.

Before i retired i managed a 30 to 50 man union construction crew before i went into the office full time where i oversaw the daily operations of a 50 mil a year union shop, controlling personal authority is not new to me & wont go to my head,if i was to ever moderate again it would be for several self serving reasons.

The main reason is that our hydroponic sections are a joke,the threads have no timeline of information,its been a free for all where every thread is toke n talk,i would put off topic posts where they belong,i would monitor threads to keep off topic posting down so as to not destroy information important to the timeline of the threads, my posting in that forum would be of a helpfull nature that would teach the art of hydroponics to others,or to keep others from detracting from the quality of the thread.

Ive been a mod years back at a hi end hifi audio site so i know whats expected .

My main reason is that i & many others feel the site we all love so much has lost much,mainly due to the lack of real moderation,previously the only moderation done was to ban underage members,ban meth heads & pot thieves,and to ban racists,thats a good start but not enough,threads should stay on track,toke n talk is the place for bs-ing.

Im up for it.

I used to be a moderator, and feel i could become a asset to this site if given the responsibility my time zone is eastern USA and Canada i also might like to add that i am familiar with most moderator tools and hardware.
As most above applicants mentioned weeding out the trash, were all humans what one person might take as a insult could very well be not intended were all looking at a pc.
I have knowledge of forum rules and tools , and believe i have helped many ppl on this site already with there issues, if given the oppurtunity of being a moderator i would like to be able to move threads into there right destination in the forums so being able to access a few others like general , newbie and grow room would be good


Anyways good luck to all that are applying may the best few get in

This is my 3rd post,the others didnt show up.

Put me in for hydroponics,i know hydro as well as soil.

I'd put off topic posts where they belong & keep threads on track,the hydro section is a mess with every thread being a free for all,its impossible to search hydro threads when learning the art due to off topic posts,i personally think off topic posting is a huge problem here at riu & its what i could help with.

Im retired & aside from running my flood tables for the co-op much of my free time is spent here,i am good at what i do & i know hydro very well & am very well versed in room design,trouble shooting ect,ive been growing nearly 25 years now with over 4 years solid hydroponics.

If you want moderation that values keeping threads on topic then im the guy,i allready post well thought out high detailed responses to questions,no one line responses but understandable info for newbs.

Ive had a lot more personal power in real life so being a mod here wont swell my head,it would be about making the hydroponics section a usefull place with sensible threads.

I also spend alot of time in unanswered question threads if thats a forum.

I would like to be a mod and think I would do a great job of cleaning up the trolls and spam on this site. I like to help and that is why I spend most of my time in Marijuana Plant Problems. I try to very helpful in all things I do and being a mod would help me help others even more than I already do.

Hs section. I'd help block spammers, and keep it tidy... i also have 24 hours a day available, and am well known in that section. I feel that many in there wouldn't mind if i had mod abilities... I report every post that breaks site rules as it is, would be easaier to just handle it myself. section is small any ways.
