The Trump administration announced today that they where going expand the US involvement in the longest war in American history.
So, 4000 MORE troops are to be dispatched immediately, all to stop one fucked group from killing the other fucked up group in the wasteland called Afghanistan. We have had a boner since 9/11 for Afghanistan and the Taliban, with their association with Bin Laden.
The fucker is dead, so why are we still sending soldiers over there to die, because some are guaranteed to die.

Well, think about it this way.

What has every Republican POTUS done when the shit starts hitting them in the face?

Start a fucking war.

Think about it

Nixon - Vietnam (he expanded it)
Reagan - Panama/Granada/Lebanon
Bush 1- Iraq
Bush 2 - Iraq/Afghanistan
Trump - Afghanistan

See a pattern?

Democratic Presidents started wars, too. Even Carter used the CIA to destabilize foreign governments, leading to violent coups.

No innocent Presidents after WWII.

Makes you wonder who really runs our country.

What Democratic president started a war other than LBJ?

President Carter was the last POTUS to have never fired a shot.
(Helicopter wrecks in the night desert don't count, and neither does destabilizing a foreign government. It's not like they were trying to destabilize Canada. There were some dangerous actors out there. They tried to get Castro for decades. It's a shame they didn't.)

Carter was behind the overthrow of the democratically elected government in Iran, installing the Shah. How is that not an act of war?

Mr Obama greatly expanded the use of drone strikes and cover operations to include many countries we weren't previously in conflict with. How is that not starting war?

You've lost your mind.

You and your Bernie Baby crew can maybe get a group discount on a shrink to visit your ivory tower?

Carter was forced to deal with the consequences, but the Shah was "installed" twenty-three years before Carter won the presidency.

Don't bother; they just make up their own facts and when you point out that reality disagrees they have a hernia.

You: "The sky is blue"...

Bernie Baby: "CITATION!"

You: "Eh go look outside..."

Bernie Baby: "No I need links, links! Everyone knows it or it's obvious aren't links!!"
