Full Spectrum,7 Wavelenght,IR,UV, ? Help

Hello,I can see COB Full Spectrum and 7 Wavelenght 380nm et 440nm+470 et 600+630 et 660+730nm.
Some full spectrum with IR and UV.
Some new full spectrum are Very expensive and others cheap.I don't know if I must Buy Vero29 3000K or Full Spectrum ?
What's do you think is best for grow ?
Do you have section for good cob sellers for europe buyers like me.

"full spectrum" is abused as a term. a lot of chinese sellers will say anything with red and blue is "full spectrum"

most people here would say that the white light emitted from cobs and boards are "full spectrum"

you dont "need" UV and IR to raise a potent and fast growing crop. IR can be undesirable as all it really does is raise the leaf temp of your plants and offers little in the way of photosynthetic activity (it can also be good if youre in a cold climate to keep leaf temp in the right range)

UV has been shown to increase resin production and THC but you dont need much at all. and mercury vapor lights like certain CFL T8 and t5 which have UV are cheap and more than enough (most people run them less than an hour a day). UV LEDs exist but they are expensive and inefficient, so arent as commonly used. Ive seen about as many people burn the shit out of their crop than get increased resin from using supplemental UV so lets just say its an art

as for the "meat" of the spectrum you want most of the spectrum to be 530-730 nm with some blue as 430-460 nm. we could talk all day about the details of spectrum (from 2200k to 6500k and 70 cri to 97), but most fit the short description above

We have first samples of our UV T5 blend in. A smidge of UV-B some UV-A some Violet and some 475 (cyan) as well. We made these custom to supplement white light led. We also made them to be used full cycle.

They are 24" T5 with a built in reflector.

Yes, good choice, they are fine for vegging at low current and great for flowering... Get enough to cover your floor space with 45W/sq foot.at full power.

How does this compare to powerVEG 24" uvb t5 ?

All of the T5 light company's are making LED conversion bulbs. It won't be long before fluorescents are phased out. I'm surprised HLG didn't jump on this ?

We could. The reason we made this T-5 is because there really isn't an efficient and/or cost effective way to add UVB utilizing leds. Most T-5/T-8 replacement bulbs either use the fluorescent ballast or you have to rewire it. Leds don't really need a reflector per se. The qb120 board with the 65 watt driver replaces 3+ 4' t-5 bulbs. Roughly the same price but the qb120s are more efficient. If the end user doesn't have a t-5 fixture already it will be much more expensive. Also the small drivers in these bulbs are terribly inefficient most of the time. They make some sense but we made veg boards with plug and play connectors to use with meanwell drivers. Higher quality all around in my opinion.

That sounds amazing. How far would that tube have to be from the canopy?

mercury vapor lamps emit their primary wavelengths in the UV range and then use phosphor coating on the outside of the bulb to make it visible light. but fundamentally it is creating UV wavelengths and is the most direct economical way currently.

california lightworks was the first LED fixture manufacturer to recognize/implement UV t8s into their fixtures theyve been selling since 2013. unfortunately it the T8s on that fixture has its own rocker switch and isnt suited to independent timing. when i used to run the solarstorms i would always burn my leaf margins if i ran the uv 12 hrs a day

I'm the last person you would have to convince about efficiency or the quality of HLG products. I'm thinking of the sap who is standing in the hydro store looking for his yearly replacement bulbs being sold LED replacements. He is not thinking efficiency he is thinking less watts and no more buying bulbs every year.

Not super far as it's not so heavy in UV that it will burn like some of the uvb specific bulbs out there. We designed this one too be ran the entire time lights are on. I would run it same height as the other lights for spread. You will be able to add it to the hlg-550 by removing driver mounting screws and mounting the sunblaze brackets with the existing hardware. 1511629602943415867515.jpg

How does this compare to powerVEG 24" uvb t5 ?
The fs+UV has more red and other colors but less overall UVA/UVB. These really are designed to supplement white light led such as QBs and be Cobs. If you look at the spectrum above you will notice no spike past 545nm meaning we didn't use red phosphorus. Around 40% of the light is in UVA/UVB. These have a spike at 285nm which is right where you want it as far as UVB.
