All:

I am considering this system from GH. While I am a newbie to hydro, not to gardening. I like this system because it has a small foot print, 4' X 4' 7" and will fit under a 400 W footprint. It looks like you could set it up in about 30 minutes. I only found 1 thread about this specfic technology with hardley any replies.

I like:

The foot print
Room for expansion
Turn Key
Rapid Growth
Seems to be a proven method

Still researching however....

AeroFlo2 36
by General
Hydroponics®For quite some time now, satisfied AeroFlo users have requested a compact AeroFlo2 model designed expressly for indoor lighting.
General Hydroponics is pleased to offer the trim line Model 36 with an extra large 40 Gallon Panda reservoir. Excellent for growing lettuces, basil, and other smaller plants up to three or four feet in height.

The AeroFlo2 36 is designed to fit an indoor growing light footprint of four feet by 5 feet. This model measures 50 inches wide, 55 inches in length and 18 inches tall.

It is important to note that rapidly growing plants need to be maintained. Vines may require trellising (external support). Fruit and flowers must be harvested in a timely manner. New plants must be started as older plants complete their life cycles. Running an AeroFlo is like driving a very fast car, the grower must look ahead and anticipate what's to come.

The AeroFlo2 36-Site System includes everything you need to get started including an exclusive Panda 40 gallon reservoir, six individual 4 foot long growing chambers, a Bluestone submersible pump, injection manifold, support structure, thirty-six 3 inch grow cups, Coco cups, Grorox, 3 part Flora Nutrients and complete instructions.

Filthy Fletch has a partial post on building one and Pot Pimp won last months contest with his post of building one. Maybe you could check with them. A 400watt hid will not adequatly cover a 4' by4' table and is a dinosour. VV

Just some idiot
Yeah check with Fletch, I built something similar for half the cost at least. And you're looking at a 600watt at least.
