'Generation Z' Are Nothing Like Millennials, Professor Warns Liberals

Millenial here. This is pretty close to true for me. I hate both parties; they both suck. At this point in time, although they both suck, I couldn't imagine EVER voting for a republican. I hate cable tv for the most part, and stick to documentaries, or select shows off Netflix or similar. I don't have a Facebook and definitely use instagram, but only for my cannabis business. I do vote though, both locally and on the national stage. I'm a poly-sci guy so I love to be involved when I can. :blsmoke:
As a millenial, is that under 30? Sorry, can't quite keep up with all these artificial labels we put on people. I was supposedly Gen X, but I never liked that label.

Anyway, among your friends and peers who also identify as millenial, do they share your sense of involvement and vote? Because the numbers for people under 30 and voting are pretty bad, especially in local elections.

"Demographers William Straus and Neil Howe define Millennials as born between 1982–2004." I can honestly say that I am the only person I know my age that participates in anything political. It's quite sad. I have been pressuring my team I grow with to pick up some books. They have been and I can see progress, but my generation my fuck us all.

Gen Z are younger than Millenials. The cool thing is they know both parties are liars, they hate the police surveillance state and are far more libertarian and self reliant. They also hate shit TV which is filled with propaganda and brainwashing crap. The hip ones also hate Facebook. I notice younger mmj growers are moving to Instagram versus pot web sites or vile Facebook.

“Pollsters need to pay attention to Gen Z. People and politicians need to recognize that they aren’t millennials and shouldn't be lumped in,” Brauer told Campus Reform, noting that “there was virtually no attention paid to this demographic” in 2016, even though it was the first presidential election in which Gen Z had the ability to vote.

“Democratic candidates lost five percent of the youth vote nationally (down from 60 percent to 55 percent),” Brauer pointed out. “In Florida, Democrats’ margin of victory among the young dropped 16 percentage points. In both Ohio and Pennsylvania, the drop was 19 points. In Wisconsin, 20 points.”
Just a side note about the vile facebook, it owns instagram...

That's the sense I get from my niece and her first cousin, 12 & 14 respectively. They seem to have no compassion. Of course, they're still too young to think much about politics.

My only advice would be to educate them. It seems to be the only thing that helps. Shit, take a look at the cannabis industry, full of a bunch of retards, with a small minority of educated people.

if you operated an insurance company would you insure hi risk policy holders? nope, and if you did you wouldn't last long in business
obviously actuarial science and the concept of how insurance pools work is lost on these wise libertarians.

I was thinking about politics when I was 10 and my dad took me with him to vote in 1964.

Being exposed to things has a lot to do with interest.
i remember my mom bringing me with her to vote in 1996 and watching my democrat neighbor taunt my dad as the returns came in that night with perot winning not a single state.

Those two kids go to the best school money can buy, and I think it contributes to their lack of compassion. They're certainly in a bubble--only in school and associate with only other upper middle class white people.
