I never said it was legal. Yes, they are shutting SOME down, still plenty operating anyway, even new ones popping up. Legalitys have never stopped anyone before. My point was mostly directed at your comment about prices staying steady,-->>that there is a plethora of shops operating right now, taking in massive amounts of product, alot of it really good, and that when or if the state finally gets it under control..that product is likely to hit the streets, driving prices low low low haha, FOR EVERYONE, since those growers will either license up, and i dont expect very many too be able to, considering the amount of growers there are now, quit growing or hit the black market. I think it is just going to be an unintended consequence of these new laws, shutting out the majority of growers, from making money legally. I dont see very many folks taking this into account.
I also tend to disagree about being raided while following the law..it has happened..and still happens. Wasnt trying to argue about it haha..more so just rambling nonsense i guess.

Obviously, this price dip wont apply to the mmfla shops..i am more talking About local sales and farmers markets. You are right about one thing, they will be pricey, and itll be hard to compete with the alternative markets quality and prices. Someone else mentioned used gavita's for 100 bucks, due to potential liquidation/bankruptys sales hahaha..thatll be the day!!!!!

Having read and studied our law and court opinions for nearly a decade now, my constant use of the word assume is quite intentional.

Per the numerous anti MMJ court opinions handed down since MMMA we (in general) assume dispensaries are "illegal", just as we had considered extracts and medibles "illegal" for many years.

Yet I know for a fact not one of those court opinions ever changed the MMJ business models in Ann Arbor and none were raided, shut down or drug into court. I think it's pretty safe to assume that there are some pretty rock solid paid for legal arguments propping them up. I also assume that those law firms providing that defense consider those legal arguments proprietary intellectual property and have no intention of sharing or publishing them.

There is just far too much grey area in both lawfare and MMJ to ever be certain about anything ...

Either way the G is not losing popularity. Too bad all these "jail house lawyers" can't meet up in real life and see something they've been overlooking since 2009. When I was in prison we had guys we called jail house lawyers. Had a lot too say but was very ineffective in making people believe it. You see with the eyes not believe everything you hear from these so called jailhouse lawyers. Hey you got a bugler?
The G3C is a real place that's been operating since 2009, they didn't hide behind a desk, they made it happen, kudos to them
Everyone else is just a critic & critics will never be a positive reinforcing part of real life. Step out and away from false realities created for the www...

Municipalities must enact MMFLA specific ordinances prior to any license application being submitted there. MMMA ordinances do not count.

Here's some decent info from real lawyers if that's your thing :bigjoint:
http://www.cannabisattorneysofmichigan.com/mmfla/

BTW speaking and/or understanding legalese does not necessarily make one a jailhouse lawyer. One is not wrong simply because one is not a Bar Association member professionally selling legal services.

IMHO in a perfect world/law the farmers market would be the business model.

If it wasn't for my wife I'd be in prison. Lawyers are liars. 10 different lawyers will tell you 10 different things depend on what you wanna hear and how much money you have. My lawyers told me they'd get me off for 30k my wife did it for free.

I was up at Vehicle City for a concert days after the township served all those farmers markets cease and desist orders and it was a ghost town. I know they all stayed open and are still operating, but business has been rough. I'm sure the MMFLA Feb 15th deadline won't help things. I worry the MMMA farmers market business model will not survive MMFLA "compliance" and competition. That's a tragedy for the patients and caregivers that have relied upon it's wide selection and cost for the past decade.

2 people mostly attracted to trollitup. Excops and guys that can’t grow or weren’t accepted into these environments because of attitude. And oh I forgot old people also. They are so bored but technology makes them think they are smarter than they really are. And then you have the grower who wants to really help people but the trolls in the room have to stink it up for everyone else who are really trying to learn. Grow up instead of acting like a teenager
