check what i posted somewhere else.

Two 1000 watt bulbs would be $129.60 in two months is what was said in 1 of the articles i was reading, he also said that it would'nt be to noticeable, with 6 hundred thousand other people using alot of electricity, thats top he said you could go without getting noticed, i thought to myself i wouldnt have more than 3000w EVER IN MY LIFE, like 3000w is noticeable? so i kept reading.

also power companies have good programs that monitor your patterns of consumption, a spike for example from 3000w would be a big spike, notifying them and if they wanted they could catch you.

i dont want the talk about having that much electricity wont get you busted.

i want the talk that tells you how to get past the patterns, iv thought in my head that turning on a 1000w 18/6 and another light turning on at 12/12 when the 18/6 turns off is the same power consumption besides the hourly timing, so lets say your running 2 lights under 12/12 and 1 under 18/6 how is it possible to stop them from noticing, like timing, it will always be off am i correct? or how many lights do you need to successfully do this or how many less besides 1 cause that is not noobie fun :).

bare with me.. its copyed and pasted. :)

In my apartment the electricity is included in my rent. My landlord sees the electricity usage per apartment on a graph. I already have a 400watt MH & 400Watt HPS but haven't started using them because of this. So I'm growing a few pathetic plants under a 60 grow light right now. You guys think I should just set up my closet? I have the insulation, the yo-yo's...

In my opinion

If you plan on growing with more then 1 or 2 1000w lights

I suggest turning all your house lights on through out the month more often then not.. This way the power-bill is going up slightly for a month before you throw the grow-lights in there.

Once you get your new bill with the higher electricity then you can turn all your grow-lights on and really maintain your other lights.

If you're wasting electricity in your grow room, you want to save it elsewhere. I have a habit of keeping my PC on over night..well if I had a grow room, I'd certainly turn it off every night.

Simple things like that will help reduce the difference from the prior months to growing.

1) Dont steal electricity
2) Pay your bill on time
