Getting Seeds from Vancouver Seed Bank...is it possible?

So here's the deal. The dude needs some beans.
My second Diesel Ryder pollination did not really work. Theres really no reliable source for me down in the US without the internet. Luckily, I am flying to Vancouver next month on a business trip. Did a little research and came across Vancouver Seed Bank. Seems to be the place to go. I DONT want to know if other people have ordered from them online. Can any guy (US citizen, not Canadian)just walk into these places and be like a kid in a candy store? My senses tell me no... Anyone ever done this? Ive searched for info on it but people just continuously get lost in sidetracked conversations and its never answered. I wonder whybongsmilie

I'm from canada, and to be honest i don't think it would be that easy. Unless it's some kid working i think you would need a card or connection. I'm not 100% sure but you being from the U.S might make it even harder to buy them

Yes it is a storefront on Hasting st. You can just walk in and buy whatever they have in stock. It's that easy.

NAw man canada isent like that lol you can deffinitly stand
there and pick any strain you want,
canada is FULL of seedbanks there

Yes it is that easy they will not ask you for anything other then the cash to pay for the beans. Hope you find what you are looking for and enjoy your time in Canada.:peace:

And if you want to know How they are able to get away with that, Its because they found a loop hole in the system that allows them to sell the seeds as souvenirs to seed collectors "in case the laws change" ;) gotta love it

Fuck yeah. Thanks guys. I got a feeling this may be the best work trip (vacation) yet.
Just another check mark in the good reasons to move column. I might not leave. ha

So, after going to Canada, I picked up 20 Dr. Atomic Blueberry Jam (Atomic Jam).
Germed all twenty, but lo only (3) germinated. 3....fucking three. I was so pissed that after a week I got rid of them. 180 clams down the shitter.
I knew the seeds looked bad, but come on. Three? Never again. Fuck you Vancouver Seed Bank.

they would have replaced them BTW, but that's too late now anyways.
You're a moron to have thrown away the rest of them, probably at least one, maybe two would have been female and you could have cloned them and had an unlimited number of females.
Take your business elswhere then.
