GG4 f1?

So i saw a strain advertised as Black Cherry Soda x GG4 f1.
Is that even possible? Isnt GG4 clone only?
Maybe they selfed a GG4 clone then got a male n female from those seeds and bred em??

Or, theres no such thing as GG4 f1?

You could make female seeds with a GG4 clone by either STS or rodelization. I did it recently, but the resulting seeds would not likely be the same #4 pheno. You might be able to find her if you planted enough of them, and they would be considered S1, not F1...and there you have it, the full extent of my genetic knowledge!

Your reading it wrong. It is black cherry soda male x GG4 female = first generation f1.
