GH Flora feed charts (coco grow)

G'day

So my question is, am i better off using the feed chart created by General Hydro (Drain to waste) or am i better off using the chart created by grow weed easy (drain to waste)

My only reason for asking is that, sure it may be smarter to go with the chart for growing weed, but part of still feels like i should trust General Hydro, as they created the product they should know best?

Cheers

Which GH line are going with? The flora series, nova series, or maxi series? If using flora series, google Head's formula and enjoy your results. Something to keep in mind about manufacturers is that they are in the business of selling you more product and therefore their recommendations might not be in your best interest.:weed:

Thanks very much, my only question is (I'm still relatively new to growing), how much CaliMagic do i need to add when using this formula? or do i not have to worry about it?

And yes I'm using the Flora Series ^_^

full strength per gallon

veg
grow 7.5mls
micro 5mls
bloom 2.5 mls
calmag 3mls
Epsom salt 0.5 grams (1/8 tsp)

bloom option #1 (doesn't require kool bloom)
grow 6mls
micro 3mls
bloom 6mls
calmag 5mls

bloom option #2 (with kool bloom)
grow 2.5mls
micro 5mls
bloom 7.5mls
kool 1 mls
calmag 2 mls

bloom option #3 (for late bloom last couple weeks to leach N)
grow 0mls
micro 6.5 mls
bloom 13 mls

for a slightly higher EC/PPM mix it the same but with slightly less water
for a slightly lower EC/PPM mix it the same way with slightly more water

keep a daily log of your drain/waste water from the bottom of your pots
with these rules in mind/ as a rule of thumb (for hydro / excluding soil)

EC/PPM goes up, PH goes down, lower the EC/PPM
EC/PPM goes down, PH goes up, raise the EC/PPM

if the drain/waste water EC/PPM is significantly higher than the feed solution its time to flush

sorry ..been sick

veg id raise the calmag to 4ml per gallon and then cut the mix to desired EC

in bloom id use bloom option #2 with 3mls calmag and not add the kool bloom

thatll shift the K to Ca ratio for coco
I would like to try this with DtW coco. Would I also be able to add amour Si to this mix or, don't bother. Sorry I know it's an old thread.
