My Florida boys brought cuts up well before they went west with it all . I only keep the genetics that Ae77 brought back and nothing from out in Cali has ever really caught my interest . Forgot to note that I do not play with ping pong tables in my grow room . I would though if I wanted a mini grow and some fun in between rounds .

Dr. Greenthumb was the first seedbank to offer Ghost OG, Bubba Kush and Chemdawg back in about 2002 and has been selling them in a continuous line ever since so for those 3 strains I wouldn't trust anyone else

ive got an OG Ghost 3 weeks into flower, and one in clone/veg tage (in solo cup). this is THE hardest strain ive ever cloned in my life. I went from a 99.99999% clone success rate to a 92% success rate (ive only lost 1 clone is 2 yrs). I cut 5 to clone, only 1 made it (fingers crossed she makes to thru veg to pull more clones off her).

Don't say that! I'm able to clone some. Better take as many as possible.

Yeah she is a trial in a cloner. Tha glue will be thru twice before the ghost has more than bumps

I grew out the clone I got to clone her and not intended on flowering her. well after I grew her out a bit and took 5 clones, I figured why not toss the ghost AND the GG#4 in the next rotation. I really hope this one clone that made it to solo cups holds out so I can pull more off her for next time.

I put these in my cloner 2 weeks before pulling any other strain. 2 weeks is about the time I would pull clones off her in order for her to keep even growing with other strains (mine at least). also, was informed to not put in an air stone in with the cloner machine. so I removed mine.

I never had any trouble cloning Ghost OG, I just make sure the mother is very happy before I take my cuts.

With that said, Ghost OG is one of my all time favorite smokes, the taste is just amazing. If you really like Ghost OG, I highly recommend getting your hands on a San Fernando Valley OG (clone only) cut. The SFV OG is pretty much exactly the same as Ghost in terms of looks, smell, flavor and potency but the SFV OG will yield almost twice as much bud as the Ghost.

huel I had 36 clones in my machine. I pulled the 5 og ghost and put then in 2 weeks before pulling my other clones. at that 2 week mark, I had 1 that started to root. the other 4 nothing. then I filled in the rest of my clones and did a water change. 2 weeks later I potted all the clones minus 4 og ghost cuttings. still nothing, not even a little nub on the stem.

not sure what went wrong.

I use 5.8 ph water (tested with a quality meter)
bubbled h20
regen a root rooting hormone (awesome stuff)
24/7 t8 lighting
humidifier
75% rh 73* temps

DT, I'm no pro but, I understand that some dark period is necessary. When I hear this remark, it's usually in reference to the krebs cycle. I personally don't do the 24 anywhere and can't say if cloning is dependent on the krebs cycle, just food for thought.

I use an EZ 30 aero cloner

I take cuts with a sterilized razor at a 45 degree angle and get the cuts submerged into water immediately. No splitting stems or shaving off outer layers...

25% strength GH bloom nutes, Dyna Gro K-L-N and a little Superthrive
PH 5.5
Rez temp 80-85F
Air temp as close to 75F as possible
Two 26w cfl's on 24/7

I would say i have 100% success cloning but every once in a while there are a couple that just never root at random. I've tried cloning every which way imaginable with all the popular rooting gels/powders and found the biggest impact on getting cuts to root fast has been low ph and light bloom nutes. There is definitely more than one way to skin a cat, but after many years of cloning that is what works best for me.

ive done 24/7 in my cloning room for almost 2 yrs w/o any issues.

It is true that plants need a night/rest cycle, although plants can force biological sleep with the lights on if need be ...
