I see terror in the faces of all those folks who had to jump from the twin towers on 9-11. I see planes flown by terrorists causing that fear in the faces of those jumping from the twin towers. Does that make me a terrorist?

On the gay issue: I believe everyone should be treated with respect ... that would include gays and lesbians. Respect doesn't mean acceptance of their life styles. And I don't want gay political groups to lobby government to force me into accepting their lifestyles either. Live and let live is my motto in these things. Why should the vast majority of people be forced to change that which has been the accepted norm for thousands of years in order to appease a small, though very vocal, special interest group?

i see intention... I have intention.... I don't even know what MORAL means... I know what other people tell themselves it means.. BUT I also know people who believe in UFOs.. morals are just as abstract as dragons, god and ufo's..

i heard Dr phil on leno the other nght talk about how horrible Michael Vicks actions were... well... why doesn't he say how horrible it is that millions and millions (billions) of cattle, pig, sheep, chicken are tortured and slaughtered every year .. with the intention of making money..... oh yeah.. that benifits him.. so it is ok....

such a crock a shit.. IT is IMMORAL to KILL..

Now please.. don't confude that with me saying that I don't kill.. I live a contradiction.. I KNOW that killing is wrong and I still partake in the slaghter.. That isthe dilemma with being awake,,,

GK, it sounds to me like you live in a paradoxical universe; one where life itself transgresses against other life by it's very existence and the need for sustenance.

once you realize that humans are on a different plane of existence, not higher or lower - just different, you can relinquish this tormented view that we are some kind of malevolent force consuming and destroying other life for selfish, human-centric pursuits. you can also accept that human life is special, more meaningful and most wonderful.

the world is ours and this makes us stewards, not owners, of a wonderful planet perfectly suited for us to live our lives. the fulcrum upon which all decisions of right or wrong, moral or immoral are balanced is the acceptance that human life is of the utmost importance. everything follows this naturally.
