Howdy all green fingered growers.
I have fungal gnats. The little buggers are eatting the roots hairs.
growing AK48 in soil under 400w hps 5th week flowering. All organic and the greenest I have grown.
My question is. How do I get rid of these bugs without comprimising my organic history. All the solutions I can see are to use chemical pesticides to kill them. I really don't want to do this.
Any suggestions would be great.
Peace from Afro the clown.

Are you using Roots Organic soil?
I've got a gnat problem suddenly too.
Look up Gnatrol ... organic, kills fungus gnats
Lemme know how it works out.
Kill 'em all.

Get Eds zero tolerance herbal pesticide. Its derived from clove oils and stuff and he uses his name to back up his product. Im just gonna paste the last instructions. Just replace the bug bomb with Eds ZT

It looks like fungus gnats to me. Typical when nearing harvest. I wish i figured out a perfect solution, but they are a pain in the ass. Ive only had success using a combination of tricks
1. get a 3 oz doktor doom pyrethrin fogger
2. get a small bottle of azamax
3. Fill your pot or container with a 1/2 of sand to kill their habitat
4. use bug bomb
5. smear azamax on all visible plant matter except for the crowns of your buds
6. Cross your fingers and pray
