I trimmed this off a couple of days ago and have it in my tent drying. My tent runs between 55-60% humidity.

Back in the early 80's most pot you bought was just leaves. Nowadays no one seems to want the leaves. They only want the buds.

I plan on smoking the whole plant when she's done.

I don’t know where you were in the 80s but we smoked bud, not leaves. Never heard of smoking leaves, although some don’t trim all the sugar leaves out well. They are harsh and do nothing for a mind altering effect.

Yes it was harsh. But got a great buzz off of the leaves. I was in OKC. I could get the buds. But they were double the price and hard to get.

Literally never heard anyone say that they actually wanted to smoke leaves when bud was an option.

I smoked my wgh leafs.bong ia harsh vape is better but you still get that funky leaf taste strong as a bud

From the 80s I remember, home grown was nothing but leaves. I was getting 8 grams of bud for $25.

I think I was getting mostly leaves. Because in the early 80's I was buying 1/4lb for $25.

I was buying 3-finger 1/4’s in the 80’s for $25 but never remember it being fan leaves. I remember ducking the seed explosions and loose airy buds but never remember getting straight leaf material.

You can get all the resin off your collection of leaves cut off the buds. You could sift it or use the ice water method. At least then you have extracted all the active material off the leaves rather than just bining them.if you dont want to just throw them away. And your buds are clean and free of them. You could also make butter with the leaves or tincture. Smoking just leaves alone probably isnt going to be too great.

Some people like a really manicured trim, but I feel like it reduces weed to basic shapes and reduces the unique structure of different cultivars. I do as little as possible. Like these
