I just use Canna Flores hydro and it is all you need, they even add a pH neutral Silica so there is no need for anything else really, maybe a calcium supplement depending on water source.
1st time i bought weed that i knew what strain i was getting and off the person who grew it it sucked know taste absalutly no frost plust no high it was gron in canna coco iv haerd nothing but good thing about canna i use bio canna in there soil this grow i havent needed it but i got beans of the strain i got so i can grow it using super soil and compare it i like canna as a company tho

That last grow was nothing to crow about for sure and if I only wanted to show my best I wouldn't have posted that experiment until I had grown it out and got excellent results. Then I could have pretended that I never grew them at all but that wouldn't have been very honest of me now would it?

Still got buckets of pot so it wasn't a failure but certainly not my best effort. The 5 largest plants were OG#18 and clones from a buddy that I'd never grown before but kept a cutting to get more cuttings from so will see how it does in DWC. All 5 had 'nanners on them from about week 3 of 12/12 but I only found 3 seeds so the 'nanners weren't very potent or there would have been lots of seeds.

I went with a 50:50 mix of ProMix HP and ProMix potting soil instead of straight HP and got disappointed. Exactly the reason I'm going back to DWC for all my bud growing. The ProMix will get used for mothers and breeder plants. The grow before that last one was straight HP in a ScroG and looked a lot better but it was also with a strain that I made and grown many times in the past. It didn't do as well as it has in DWC either. As I've said many times, I'm no dirt farmer.

One of my favorite strains that does very well in DWC and finishes fast. L.S.D. X Blueberry. Both originally from Barney's Farms and crossed by a buddy in Texas who sent me a dozen seeds 7 years ago.

I am so looking forward to getting a few DWC tubs going this fall so I have a very Merry Xmas and a Higher New Year! :)

I still see unhealthy plants.

Or were you just being honest again and not showing your best?

Dwc, soil, soil-less whatever you grow in, you're over feeding.

You are quite correct about the over feeding and it's a problem that I've had for ages but just recently think I have found the root of my problems with that. Vapour Pressure Deficit or VPD. For about 10 months of the year we have very low RH and from what I've been reading about VPD it's causing my plants to take in way too many nutes along with all the extra water they drink leading to toxic salts buildup. During the winter it's hard to keep the RH over 30% so I need to come up with a good humidifier solution this fall as I'm adding an 8x4 flower room to my current grow space. Even now in the middle of summer with rain every 2nd day the RH is hovering around 50%.

I'm thinking along the lines of using misters like they do to cool down chicken barns to spray a fine mist of water into the air to keep the RH up. Have to look into control units for that or come up with another idea. Got any? :)

It's not like I deliberately push heavy nutes on my plants but even when I stay low with my feeding I easily burn my plants. Half strength nutes every 2nd watering for plants in pots and rarely up to 1000ppm in DWC and still get crispy leaves around the 6th week of flower. I've been blaming too high N and with the last grow went with the lucas formula after the stretch and at least didn't get crispy leaves but didn't get stellar yields either.

My other option is going the sealed room route with CO2, A/C etc and if I can raise the scratch that could be my best option. I want to be growing shitloads this winter as I may sell the house next year and get the hell out of here. Sick of the Great White North.

I didn't say a word about price because the price is artificially manufactured by not including everything the plant needs without needing multiple bottles. And you don't get better quality or yield because of what hobby companies nutes you buy. They can all work if you know how to use them.

You get it through good gardening practices and reading and reacting to the plants needs and keeping a hospitable and stable environment.

AN doesn't make the chemicals. They source them through much bigger companies. If you are worried about the quality of chemicals I would suggest other companies that actually cater to food production.

Did you even listen to the dyna Grow interview?

I bet not. You just want us to say you made the right decision. But I think multiple bottles makes it much harder to learn and much less chance of good results unless you have experience and knowledge.
Like old folks here say:baba sumom,a deda drumom. That is with you and me.You cant or you wont understand meaning of my post..I didnt say that you bashed AN due to.price,My question and explanation was directed at those guys in here that were bashing AN due to price. So if AN is garbage, what is HESI? ThT was my point of questioning..

You are trying to say that's quality product? Looks like super fluffy low quality with barely any trics, i suggest different methods and different genetics, good luck.

If it's so watered down why can it burn plants when used at anything over 1/2 strength?

1gal each of 3-part $120
500g can of Big Bud powder $80
1L of Rhino Skin $40
1L Growteck CalMag $15

For that $255 I'll grow well over 20G worth of pot at the going rate here of $2400/lb and not need a degree in plant biology to do it.

I've grown bud since '78 and used all sorts of nutes and all sorts of methods and I don't go hating on folks that do it different than I do.

Simple and easy works for me and there ain't much easier than what I'm doing now.

More important things to bitch about than someone's choice of nutes so take a View attachment 3981991 before you blow a gasket. Or smoke a bowl of that fantastic pot you claim to grow before getting online.
im confused not tryng to troll but 28 grams in an oz ye witch gos for 300 pretty mutch every where im not trying to hate dude but shit that doasent make sense to me i dont get how ud be turning a profit after expenses nutes and electricity

an oz here in colorado is only worth about 100$ and that's not even wholesale price, which is less. Dispensaries are selling oz all day for 80-100$.

I personally wouldn't buy shit from them, but still killing the price around here.

Considering it was the first time I've grown these OG#18s and it didn't go as well as I'd of liked I'm happy with it and so are the half dozen real people who've smoked it so far. My camera isn't that shit hot but these nugs are solid and covered in crystal so your opinion to me is worth about 3 dead flies. The half dozen strains I've tried from dispensaries in BC Like GSC were no better if as good.

And like me the unruly red hair gets in the way. :)

Advanced Nutrients are good if you don't care about using organic nutes or not, they put out organic additives but their base nutes do not come in organics
I already gave you links to their new organic stuff and the Iguana Juice Grow and Bloom are the base nutes. One part for each stage of growth.
