we all have our fingers crossed here in nevada. question 2 will help MMJ patients as well. we will be able to buy or grow our medicine without giving up our 2nd and 5th amendment rights. or trying to find doctors who are willing to risk losing their right to prescribe schedule 2 drugs in order to participate in the state registration program.unfortunately this will mean that LEO will have to learn how to do real police work since they will no longer be able to identify and harass MMJ patients or casual cannabis users.:):):)

hope it goes nation wide. hope the federal government legalizes recreational use before too long but thats a dream many of us share. as a registered MMJ patient I think this will give us our rights back and protect us from police harassment

From my reading if you live within 25 miles of a dispensary you won't be able to grow your own.... found that odd.

I have not researched the new law yet but, that sounds like the old med law. Do you have any links?
Yeah Noml.org. read it on a not so credited news source and figured if anyone had it, it would be them. Sure enough it's there

it took 14 years for the first medical dispensary to open in nevada and the DEA is still shutting down production facilities. the new administration will likely take a hard line approach to recreational use and growing within 25 miles of a dispensary carries a maximum $600 fine. if you follow the rules, grow in a closet or locked green house thats not visible from public property L.E is not likely to waste time with you.if a retail outlet does open withing 25 miles of your home a call to the DEA may get it shut down.and I don't think BM growers and sellers want the competition.there is no policy or budget provision protecting recreational use like you have with medical use. the state want to protect it's revenue and the state sponsored drug cartel.I have no intention of renewing my MMJ card this year or shutting down my closet grow.sure there are plenty of "concerned citizens" in my town that don't want retail outlets here
