Republican strategist Todd Harris has some trouble giving Chris Matthews one example of anything Republicans have done that's positive for America in the last 20 years. Funny shit.

Wow, I'm surprised he didn't think of tax cuts. Even sarah palin is smart enough to know that's one she needs to write on her palm.

And as always. . .may the eternal spirit that created all, that is and was all, guide you through life's journey's.

Rush and Sarah are fucking idiots and if ANYONE thinks either party has not contributed to this country over the last 20 years their fucking idiots also. I'm sorry this "strategist' isn't sharp enough to come up with a response fast enough during the interview and looks like a douche.

even I can mention something good republicans have done in the last 20 years.

W. Bush sent some aid to impoverished nations, which made it's way to AIDS awareness groups, which led to new cases of AIDS decreasing in ways even industrialized nations haven't been able to achieve.

in an ironic twist, it was largely due to the condoms being handed out, not because they suddenly started to practice abstinence..... hehe..

Bush sent some aid to only Africa nations that agreed to help fight his war on terror. As far as the aids claim.............

'One of the White House's major aid initiatives, the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), has wasted much of its funds on scientifically questionable programs designed to please American religious conservatives. Though studies show that only a comprehensive approach, including condom distribution, sexual education, and antiretrovirals, could reduce HIV, the White House insisted that PEPFAR spend one-third of its behavioral prevention budget on programs that promote abstinence until marriage. It also refused to let PEPFAR money go for programs like needle exchanges and aggressive condom promotion. Recipient nations had to sign an American pledge vowing to oppose prostitution, even though prostitutes are major carriers of HIV in Africa, and signing the pledge could scare PEPFAR recipients out of helping sex workers. Virtually no other major multinational donor agreed with PEPFAR's strategy. Even the administration's own inspector general responsible for overseeing aid couldn't prove that its methods had worked.'

The only think Republicans know about AIDS is that you get it from gay people.

Wow, what have the repubs done? You mean before or after they got as fucked up as the dems? The whole Berlin wall/cold war thing kind of comes to mind... Its too bad extremists have taken over both parties. Kind of assures that we will never find a common ground on major issues. Sure makes for great finger pointing fun for the whole family, though!
The infomercial goes something like this: "Yes, now you too can be better than those people over there, just by agreeing with our group! Yippee! Ain't we great (because they suck)!" And it's on ALL THE TIME...

Take another look at the video clip without your political bias. Everytime Mathews asks a question, Todd Harris tries to give an answer. As he tries to answer, he gets one or two words out before Mathews interrupts. How the hell does one answer a question when the question asker won't shut the fuck up? Geeze ... I though Bill O'Reilly was bad in this regard, but Mathews wins the Oscar.

Name some things democrats, or any political party / politician
have done for this country.
i don't know how many times it must be said, it is not government's job to do things for the people. government's sole duty is to allow the people to do for themselves. the fact that there are millions of government employees running around in an effort to regulate the lives of the people is a testament to just how screwed up our priorities have become.

And the only thing I would add is: "Welcome to The Brave New World."

PS: I sure do enjoy your posts undertheice. Always well thought out and so articulate. Love 'em. :)

I think somebody needs to read the 10th amendment. Just because Progressive FUCKS started to ignore the restrictions on government, starting with the New Deal and culminating with the Patriot Act by Bush and just about EVERYTHING that Obama, Reid and Pelosi are pushing, doesn't mean that we all have forgotten the foundation of this Republic.

No one is saying the government has no authority, it's simply a matter of it's size and control.
