Got guns?

Hey guys, I have some old iron. For a long time I bought myself a gun on every birthday. The last two I haven't done that, and have even sold a couple. I must be losing that collector urge.

I like revolvers, although I doubt I have a dozen. About the best of them is an old Colt 32.20 like this one. {not mine, picture from Google}

Also have an old S&W 38 that I like a lot. I shot it a lot back in the day. Before I got old and in the way, I was real good with it up to 50-60 yards.

But those all stay in the safe. I have a German .357 as my work gun. An American European Arms 5 shot .357 as my car gun. A Rossi or Taurus {sorry for my shoddy memory} .357 for my truck gun. And Daddy's old S&W .357 as my house gun. I have a couple three of those western style pistols with .22 and .22mag chambers. As well as a couple of replica CSA Navy Colts in cap and ball.

Edit: I may have a pair of H&R 32Mag. I had two that I sell to my buddy when he's flush, and he sells back to me when he's broke. But he might have gave them to his girls, so I'm just not sure on those two.

For long guns I like double barrel shotguns the best and have at least 2-3 in most gauges, except 410, 28 and 10. I do have some pumps too mostly 20's, 16's and 12's, as well as a few bolt actions and shingle shots. I don't think I have any shotgun semiautomatics.

I have mostly bolt action and pump rifles. I only have 6 or 7 "high powered" rifles scoped, but have lots of oddball open sight stuff I have picked up over the years. Most of it pretty old. Savage Arms is heavily represented. I have a small frame bolt action 30-30 from them that looks like a .22 laying on the truck seat. Just about my best shooting gun before I had to wear glasses. I do have a Chinese SKS as well as a Mini 14 Ranch. Other than .22's, my only semiautomatic rifles. Also have a .22 Mag bolt action I like a lot. Can't think what it in right now. Don't shoot it much. Possums and such get dispatched with a Ruger 10-22 I keep by the door.

I missed my chance to buy a Nagant revolver like that. Note that the case is used to seal the b/c gap, very unusual, and the "camming" mechanism to engage them is a weak spot on those guns iirc.
The main use of the guns was to shoot soldiers trying to retreat. If they will kill their own soldiers, they were not too worried about the officers carrying them.

I bought mine in a pawnshop for about 95 bucks. Went back the next week, and they had another just like it in it's place. I ask how many they had, and he said as many as I wanted to buy.
