Grandmas Molasses??

aight i just got some grandmas molasses (unsulphured) and i just started adding it to my watering schedule at 1-2 tbsp per gallon....i know this is supposed to sweeten the taste and yield some, but is there a good link or can someone explain to me what all the molasses is doing for the plants and how exactly its gonna help...i know alot of people use it with good results, but im the kinda person that likes to know the science and shit behind stuff before i start adding anything to my girls.....any help and info is greatly appreciated!!!

I'm not sure about it sweetening the taste, have you ever tried that molasses straight up? ugh....

It is pure glucose, that the plant can intake and use in the production of cells. I wouldn't bet on it sweetening up the flavor, I've heard both sides and I just started using it myself.
