Is a greenhouse less obvious than just throwing some plants out in the back yard? Would a homemade greenhouse draw to much attention if my neighbors cant really see it? Just wonderin.

well most people I know that grow weed in greenhouses are somewhat isolated, like they dont have a house a few feet away from them. theres woods in between and stuff. try to get a thicker whiter kind of plastic to make a greenhouse or buy one then it wont be possible to see through and see the plant, but the plant will still recieve plenty of sun. I dont think its obvious that your growing weed if you have a greenhouse lol, lots of people have them just to grow flowers, if anybody asks, just say your wife has a flower garden or something. hope that helps.

lol thats an excellent point, I was just saying that as one possible conver-up, But there are also many men that grow plants in greenhouses, not including weed plants, hope that helps
I tried the greenhouse last year... and yes, I had it in my backyard. The good news is it masks the plants from overhead surveillance; the bad news is, everyone who came onto my property wanted to see what was in the greenhouse. I got pretty tired of making excuses. This year I'm going back to growing au natural- space them out, put them on the edge of a clearing, and nobody will know they are there, anyway... that's my experience. Good luck with whatever you choose!

I was watching the Msnbc special of marijuana and they were flying helicopters and able to see Marijuana growing in greenhouses by the way it looked? They showed an example of it because it was darker and bushier or something and the whole greenhouse was filled with it. Thats just what one of the things they talked about. I guess if you don't have helicopters flying around it shouldn't be an issue. Or... You can space them out with other plants in the mix.
Hmm, that's scary, and good to know... a bit presumptuous on the part of the law (only MJ grows dark green? C'mon!), but we all know they take liberties (literally!) whenever they can. Yet another reason for subterfuge (like I said, spacing them out well on the edge of a south or sw facing clearing)
