If you grow in a greenhouse can people see the plants from the ground and the air.
If i build or buy one which materials should i use .So they cant identify or see the plants?
Cos im thinking of growing in a greenhouse but not if its risky.

its risky, you need heavy plastic or just a glass greenhouse, you could build a frame, use heavy duty clear plastic sheats to cover and thats that, you can kinda see through them, ive seen some were the top is made of a material that lets 98% of light through but you cant see through it from the air or land, dont know the material but if you arent in a med state with a med card growing in a greenhouse may be very risky... unless you have a really out of the way area for it, they would only think green house from the air...

MMMMMM???I think bad idea unless you live in the middle of nowhere.People are nosy, all it takes is one person to notice your crop.In my neighborhood lots of utility company workers come around......checking meters etc..Greenhouses are made of windows attracting to much attention to a curious eye...

Thats what i think too. What if it was hidden so people from the ground couldnt see it.
Whats a way so that the plants cant be seen from the air using a greenhouse or could the planes even identify it?

GrowTech

stays relevant.
If you line the walls in bubble wrap you get good thermal control, and lose very little light. :)

Plus it will definitely make it harder to identify what's inside from the outside, especially at a distance.

use thick white plastic sheeting for the walls... and something that is translucent but not completely clear for the roof... like a 'smoke' or 'fog' colored sheeting or plastic corrugated paneling.

i've heard of growing below ground level before... and using the 'smoky' clearish sheeting as a tarp over the ground (and the room). Hella lotta dirt to move.

i like the idea of growing in a 20 by 40 storage building, replacing the tin roof with a the clearish panels. it would have to be oriented nicely on the southern sun i would imagine.

and i wouldn't do this if my closest neighbor lived within 1 mile of me. or if the property wasn't fenced. and the drive had a gate across it.

also know that high winds will take out a greenhouse faster than anything else. a neighbor just lost his. so if it were filled with naughty things.... that wouldn't go over well.

i also seen a house with like 4 sky lights, and this bloke had a 15-20 ft tall durban poison tree growing in his two story living room.

there's a grow journal with the white plastic walls that i described... but he is using the same stuff for the roof and running many lights. Using clearish for the roof you could skip the lights though.

k man sorry i didnt get back to you earlier, i had alot goin on today.

n e way, i was reading my bible and found exactly what you need, if you have people that can see right into your back yard they wouldnt know.

heres a pic out of the book, the print is too small and this cam is too shitty so ill just type out the materials and shit.

quote under pic: this small greenhouse is covered with corrugated fiberglass. a vent on top is all the ventelation necessary. enough light penetrates the fiberglass to foster plant growth and keep out of public view.

instructions, make a wood frame with a 2 foot high wood box, about 8 feet wide and long enough to fit the amount of plants you want, build the frame structure inside that, cover with heavy clear plastic like a traditional greenhouse, after that put up the corrugated fiberglass over the plastic, flush with the wood box you started with, if you have the highest side of the greenhouse 5 feet high (7 if you include the 2 foot just wood at the bottom) and the lower opposite side 3 feet high (5 if the 2 feet of wood is included) the center area will be around 6 feet high, this will be fine for plants that dont usualy grow really tall. just make sure you have a vent area cut out of the top, like in the picture.

hope i helped, good luck and good growing! if you do something like this i want to see it done.
