i need help with my grow box because my plants are starting to die of too much heat
I can't put a fan in it because i tried that before and my whole house started to smell like weed.
I tried using co2 but it only helped for like a week.
please help, thanks.

Hey, what's your setup look like? If you aren't able to to post pics give specifics about the box such as lighting, measurements how many intake and exhaust holes you have. Is the cab in a room with a window? Something! Lol Had this problem myself when I started to veg with a 400 watt cool tube. Switch'd to Daylight CFL's in the meantime.

sounds good to me.
the box is about 4 feet tall 3 feet wide and 1 foot 1.5 foot deep but i need better exaust holes
i was dumb and put them like 4 inches
away from each other in middle of the box.

still though, is there anything i can do
to help the plants stand the heat, without creating and using exaust holes. like adding and sort of nute or more co2
or something???

bro you need to attach a carbon scrubber to control odor.. nothing else will do that if your not moving air then your not venting heat.. just cutting holes into your box will do nothing. Air needs to move

Your SOL unless you get some air moving through there. You need to vent to the attic or the outside(like through a window or outside wall). The light it takes to have a good grow in an enclosed space like that needs good ventilation. Grow cabinets are easy to light, but difficult to make stealth. Odor and heat are the enemy. No doubt about it. If you vent to the outside or attic then your odor problem is gone.

Hydro stores. It's a supplement. Add it to your res or your feed water. I don't know if it's really going to help, but it is marketed to do so.

The dimensions of your box sound very similar to mine. I wanted to make my design parallel to those grow tents.

this is my quick tip. On my box i have a computer fun blowing the hot air out just above the fan i taped a dryer sheet over the back of the fan. after the smell of the dryer sheet is gone, i spray it with colonge" i'm not sure how to spell it" Ok bod body spray cheap shit i got for christmas one year. seems to work fine for me and the room no longer smells like pot but i 16 yr old boy ready for a date lol.

anyway you look at it your going to have to make an exaust fan. and attach a carbon scrubber to it. if not your plants will die. theres nothing else you can do because its not only the heat, its the lack of air flow which is why your plants are dying. think about it. plants breathe in co2 and release oxyogen. imagin if somebody put you in a box and closed it up with no air flow. you would die once you use up all your air. the same with your plants. they need constant air to live. and with air flow, it makes your plants stronger, and more rugged. if you buy a carbon scrubber or make one, it wont smell, trust me. its gunna smell without one. but once u put the carbon scrubber over the vents then you will be ok.

If you are using a commercial tent, every one I've seen is designed with the assumption that you are going to be using a scrubber+inline exhaust.

well i think i might just give up on that idea
and try using an old pc tower and convert that
into a grow box.
Anybody got ideas or pictures and diagrams???
they would help a lot

Yeah, if you use HiTemp from Advanced Nutrients, the temperature should go down dramatically, you might need a space heater to keep them from freezing...
