Howdy, lets get down to business.
I am wanting to setup something so I can have a grow for personal use. Yield is of course important and my consumption rate seems to be a half about every 1.5 weeks. So I could prolly do an oz a month until i built up a stash.
Besides yield, stealth is of the utmost importance. I am a private person and a "professional" (think Dr. type profession) so not getting caught is very important. I also live in an apt. And I stumbled onto these indoor "auto" grow boxes controlled by an app. I am wanting to buy one, namely cloudponics.
I have been reading that not growing "correctly" could mess with the yield and potency. I dont want to do that. While all my monitoring is through an app, ph balance, nutrients, lights on off etc, and CAN be done auto, I can also override whatever I want based on the plant. And it seems these people take that into account compared to others like for example, seedolab, which was my first choice.
I like this box simply because the whole point of this is to not have to rely on anyone and me and a friend dont have to spend so much for our "entertainment" in our area. All the places I want to live dont have legal MJ yet lol not even medicinal. Plus i feel like its less mess and hassle. Their app also alerts with "core work" like "pruning". Optional being things like SCROG. Which i dont know exactly what it (pruning) is ATM but I have an idea. Plus the idea of little to no smell, again, important. And, based on the plant, maybe I need to flower longer than what the recommendation says so I think it would be smart to incorporate indoor grow tech too
However, I am open to suggestions based on my needs. I AM willing to do things for my grow, obviously, but the other appeal to this box is that I have never grown anything in my life. So the ability to fall back on AUTO in case I have to is always a nice "peace of mind option".
Just overall advice on all of this? I have viewed some cloudponics grows on their FB page. They look good, but what do i know. Thanks for reading.
ETA: It looks like I can use any nutrients I want and the new box uses Black Dog LED Photomax 2...probably 200w.
