Growbox/Ventilation Q's

So I've been pondering my growbox for some time and while reading up on ventilation I've seen different applications used and gotten some conflicted information.

So everyone gets an understanding of what I'm working with, I'm planning on a DIY aero tub like this: http://strainreview.com/cheap-and-easy-diy-aeroponics-less-than-30-mins/

I'm going to take this design and add onto it by making a pvc scrog stand and then place it into an enclosed grow box(Design will be for 400w HPS, 6 plants). The "estimated" dimensions will be about 2x3x4(4.5?). From what I know the exhaust is supposed to be more powerful than the intake in order to create a negative pressure. Looking at different designs I see people using active intake/active exhaust, passive intake/active exhaust and active intake/passive exhaust setups. My main questions are:

1) Should I be using active intake/active exhaust or passive intake/active exhaust in my growbox? I realize I will get mixed answers so just a general comparison between the two would be helpful.
2) With passive intakes, some people say to make it smaller than the exhaust, some people say to make it bigger than the exhaust. Who is right? About how big should it be?
3) I have extra gaming pc fans available to me, would these be enough for a growbox this size? They are 120mm Scythe Slipstream fans, about 60CFM each. I was planning on installing two of these on the top as active exhausts and going with either passive intake or get some 80mm ones to go as active intakes in the bottom.
4) The guy at Home Depot suggested 2x2 pressurized plywood for the box, is this good or should I go with the 2x3?

If I forgot to add anything just tell me and I will correct myself. Thanks for your input everyone:leaf:

Passive intake will be fine, same goes for the fans. Just make some hole/cracks and you should be fine.Just buy a sheet of bathroom drywall/sheetrock for walls, much cheaper than the outragous prices you'll pay for plywood now adays. You the green papered bathroom type because it holds up to moisture better, although ive used regular with know problems, but its better to be safe than sorry. Heres a video in case you dont know how to cut drywall. Use sandpaper if you dont have a rasp.

Good Luck! And have fun with your grow.
