Growing 13 degrees north latitude/soil/outdoor

So I've decided to start growing my own bud This would be my second grow, the first grow had 4 feminised seeds from GHS , the strain was the church, grow was successful, ending with a yield of 200gms after drying etc. Was happy with it. However would definitely like to improve upon my yields this time around. Any tips or words of wisdom will be highly appreciated.
Some info about the conditions where I'm situated at :
Climate is tropical dry and wet , with close proximity to the ocean. situated close to 13 degree N latitude. Temperature fluctuations are minimal.10 degree changes between day/night , 18-20 degrees Celsius in the winter and 38-40 in the summers. Receive between 11 and 13 hours of light through the year. Ideally one could expect 3 grows a year depending on the strain.

This thread is going to concentrate on the current grow. Which consists of 1-critical kush (fem ), 1-gigabud (fem), 1-g13haze (fem), and 2-wild Thailand (reg)

22nd Jan: germination begins. I like to use moist paper towel between plates for this,
24th Jan: approximately 36 hours later I planted the germinated seeds. Directly into large clay pots growing medium is soil. 1/3 red fertile top soil , 1/3 vermicompost, 1/3 sand (for drainage)
Pots are placed on a balcony, receive sunlight through the day. Giving them some extra light using 6*100watt cfls . light cycle is 18/6

18 days since planting the germinated seed. Plants are looking great,
the wild Thailands are shooting up, 10inches tall (both of them) developing there 6th set of true leaves, I read the expected stretch is 1300% after flowering begins (anyone know about that?)
The Gigabud is 9in tall, and growing it's 6th set of true leaves, nodes are evenly spread out, thick long very healthy leaves, spread out well.
G13 haze is very bushy and dense, it too is growing it's 6th set of true leaves however is only 6inches tall, probably will require some pruning later on.
The critical kush was slow of the mark. However is now 6 inches tall and is developing it's 5th set of true leaves.

I can't seem to upload images because of the server is acting up. Will put them as soon as the site is fully functional again.
Will keep this thread posted as the grow proceeds. Please feel free to give me any input you think would be beneficial
