OK...so this is my first grow ever. it began in a closet with bag seeds as a hobby, now im hooked and have invested in new lighting and a new room. Here's my setup.

in my flowering room (8'L x7W'x6'H) i have a 400w hps light and will be adding another one by the end of my first harvest. there are now 4 plants in there (from bag seed) that sprouted on sept 1st and i will begin flowering them in about a week. they are on an organic fert that was suggested to me by my local hydro shop and were just re-potted so i will veg them a bit longer.
here they are as babies, veggin with my new seedlings, and before and after the transplant....more to come...

ok now the veg room. 3x8x6 currently with about 400w cfl 6700k. i am planning on adding more and more lighting as soon as i fix the electricity problem i am having. more on that later... i am growing 4 black domina plants and 5 purple #1 from seeds. they sprouted on the first of oct and look great. i will most likely turn this into a journal so i will update as long as people are interested.

(that is a black domina seedling)

ok two problems...am i making enough heat to be detected by helecopters...i hit mid 90s in the afternoon but hav been adding 1/2 inch foam insulation to the walls as time allows....and it seems cooler inside. i have pretty good ventilation and the air always feels fresh....bottom line NO JAIL! consideringa window unit but its fall so it can wait i think...

two. anyone know about electricity? i am really handy and want to run a new curcuit for my shed but i want to do it right so i dont die or blow my lights...any help will be great.

did a lot of work today trying to get ready to flower my 4 bigger plants. made a DIY air conditioner using a styrofoam ice chest, dry ice, duct work and fans. was pushing 100 degrees but feels better after running only 30 mins! also began hanging mylar in the flower room, will do the same in the veg room. also plan on adding another DIY carbon filter to the flower room.

(attaching pics of the babies and new set up. babies 9 days since germ, bag seed 33 days veg. clones of bag seed done when stoned, cant remember but i can see a lil root so will transplant soon!)

PLEASE! let me know what you think as i am new to this and would not like to kill my expensive seeds! THANKS!

I think it's all looking good...though, the plants in the pots and the plants in the cups should be the other way around..I guess it doesn't matter too much, just get the ones in the cups out of them soon.
P.S.
I certainly hope the towel in the first picture is an american flag...you would be my hero.

Today i cropped the tops of the four reg plants. i plan on flowering them next week. everyone was watered today, the big plants also fed with bio-grow organic plant food, all liquids were ph of 6.

the dry ice did not last as long as id hoped, just two hours for like 10 lbs, but it saved me about 10 degrees in the hottest part of the day. i will continue to use the "ac" with four frozen gallons of water. i can refill them every night. i plan on setting the system on an alternate timer so it will turn on towards the hotter parts of the afternoon. i will still use the dry ice for co2 boosts twice a week.

all of the clone attempts i have made thus far have rooted and i will transplanting them into larger pots soon.

fist seedling is black domina, the second is purple #1

Thanks a lot. I just grew the bag seed to practice. I made a lot of mistakes but thanks to the information that you guys on this site provide, I was able to handle everything as without any major problems.

Can't wait for the babies to grow up though! Thanks for looking! Any suggestions/comments would be great!
