Growing on an island?

I plan to do a GuerillaGro in coming spring. Im new in the area so Its hard 4 me to choose the right spot, but... there is a huge lake nearby with number of islands on it. Mostly small ones, roughly 100x100 yards.. All covered with pine forest. As Im a fisherman and own a kayak i would be able to visit spots every weekend or maybe twice a month having a good excuse (fishing rod . The soil is not too good there, mostly clay mixed with sand. What do You think? what would be the dangers? At least no deer there Also which strain should I use? I live in the warm south. Heard that Top 44 may work well..

your going to have to change the acidic soil to more nutral.

just buy some ph up for when you water.

plus add some rich soil from grow shop to the holes and mix with original soil

We grow up and down many creeks and have wonderfull luck.

you could just grow in like 5 gal pots !
put some nice potting soil in em

I do not grow outdoor but it seems like it would be a pain to get all the soil/fertilizer ph balanced water etc out to the island.... Privacy would be killer though.
