growing outside

I want to veg 3-4 plants this summer and take them in to flower in the fall. Do you think the smell from 3 or 4 plants in veg will be noticiable?

I have a license to grow but dont really want the neighbors to know. I have a medium sized back yard with a privacy fence. Maybe if I keep them smaller it will be fine. I want to veg outside to save hydro cost and because I need to be away for almost a week in the summer. Dont really want to leave them indoors when Im away.

ditto I was thinking of a similar plan
maybe start budding out medium sized plants around the middle of july.
taking them in for added security... only thing I want left out are the decoy plants.
Lets see if buddy has enough nerve to come back this fall...
Its starting to become too much fun....lots of planning....to do

they smell, they are stinky plants unless you get strains that aren't particularly pungent. Some have sweet flowery or citrus smells. Outdoors in Canada you're pretty limited for strains depending on your climate conditions. Doubt your neighbors will have any idea unless they were standing right on top of them. Your bigger threat is from rippers.

Most odour will come once you start to flower. The smell comes from the volatiles evaporating off the trichomes. Very little trichome in veg, you should be OK.
