Growing Tomatoes For Practice

I wanna start growing tomatoes aeroponically. I was hoping someone could tell me if its exactly the same as grow mj? I've heard it is but would like experienced opinions.

I have been told/read the same thing. I had the local hyrdo store help me make two 5 gal drip buckets for tomatoes and without actually saying it, the guy basically hinted that there is a similarity between the two most popular plants. I also bought a few marijuana horticulture books and they all say that they are similar in growing. Hope that helps..

If you can, then grow 2 or more, top one plant or so and see the differance... good way to start..

Thanks for the advice. I've grown mj in another country where it is legal (of course) but now I live in the states and would like to abide by the laws and only grow tomatoes until I can get to a legal place:roll:

ya there really similar, but why not practice with bagseeds?
I actually just moved back in with my parents because I got kicked out of my friends place because "they wanted careers and they don't want to smoke weed or have people around who smoke weed", even though they went to the last Tenaskit barter fair (for those who don't know what that is its a place for hippies who trade shit for drugs, like acid and other things) and still smoke weed.

I use the same organic nutrients on my tomatoes and my mj. They both grow very well. I've found that my tomato plants thrive in the same conditions as mj plants. They are also good cover plants in an outdoor garden.

Very much the same, but I would suggest dwc over aero or better yet coco drain to waste for extreme simplicity and effectiveness.

You can set up one aero bucket and one coco or one aero and one dwc if you wanted, if you can afford the stuff to do it this would be a good time to compare. They're not that expensive.
