Growing with natural Light, indoor, through window

I have a south facing window, and 5 sprouts already coming up. I am wondering, what is the max yield for a plant ( by the way, just some seeds I found out of a bag of regular weed ) growing as such as I said.

I am a noob but I can safely say the following:

I am sure it depends on in which climate you live in, what kind of windows you have (which materials the transparent part is made of, such as glass/plastic) and how long do your plants bath in the sun during a day. Some strains won't start flowering until the sunny hours are reduced, that's why many growing indoors switch their lights to a shorter duration to start the flowering period.
If you live somewhere south in a warm climate it should work OK as far as the glass allows to pass most of the sunlight, including the UV light. If you live in Siberia and the day is short and the sunlight is not intense you might have poor results.
In other words, please let us know some details :D

Its fine for starting the seedlings off, ive just done the same thing, but you will find the will start stretching and leaning toward the window. Also UBV (light that makes the buds stickier) does not go through glass, so its ok for veging, but it wont get you anywhere for flower

Expect maybe a few bowls dry a plant, if your lucky. With Window grows you get what you put into it, almost nothing. As for the max a plant could yeild....pounds, but thats in ideal conditions, usually vegged inside all winter before being put out in the spring in a huge hole filled with good soil and fish guts and stuff like that which gets lots of direct sunlight each day.
