Growroom Ventilation

Hey guys!
I have built myself the grow room I posted about a year ago.(under my bed)
Now I want to figure out what fans to get.
I have the 20*36*62in tent from Apollo I was going to get the vivosun 203 cfm 4" inline fan but it wont ship to my location. now i stumbeled across the apollo 4″ Inch 190 CFM plastic Inline Duct Fan and wanted to know if it is a better buy?

Specswhise it tells me that the 4″ Inch 190 CFM plastic Inline Duct Fan has only 31dB and uses less watts.
Is there a signivicant difference between plasic and metal fans?

Also I wanted to know if the cfm I selected is suited for my tent. I know that this fan can swap my air out well enough. But if I add a filter and the ducting doesn't that lower the cfm ? by how much ?

thanks for the support

Duct fans are best suited to boosting intake, go with a proper inline fan. Don't cheap out it will cost twice as much before you get it right. Good luck

Ok! I will do that. Thanks!
The rating on a filter tells me how many cfms the filter can handle right?
So a 190cfm filter will ultimately die on me if I use it at 250cfm.
Am i getting that correct?

Oversize the filter that way the filtration will be more effective. 190cfm filter on a 250cfm fan will work but the airflow through will be to quick for the filter to catch the particles properly.

For a proper axial inline fan its about 20-25% reduction by adding a filter, plus 5-10% for average duct length with a bend.
For a centrifugal fan performance can drop up to 50% by adding filter and duct but suffers less loss over longer distances.

There are lots of grow room calculators online to calculate cfm per volume of tent.

You 100% don't want to cheap out on this equipment you can use it for years. I would go with a 6 inch inline fan. 4 inches isn't enough. Don't ever do plastic get a proper metal inline fan setup.
