Well we made it safely back to our home port, taking a newly purchased used craft on a 168 NMi took us 17 hrs. Slept on board on Fri. before we shoved off at around noon, then slept anchored off the ICW Sat. night. We got up early Sunday to to complete the run to home port.
Minor problem, when we started on our way on Sat. there seemed to be a vibration that was not there on Friday. My son went into the engine compartment and found the three of the 4 bolts attaching the transmission to the drive shaft where missing and the one that remained was being held by about three threads. That was a catastrophe avoided, and other than the nasty weather we faced all day Saturday, rain, cold north wind the rest of the trip was great. My son and I both got drenched Saturday, so those big bowls and the Bullet bourbon helped to make thing bearable.
Few pics from the trip.

At the fuel dock, the family with about 6 others mingling around asking about the boat, they all were very interested. My son in this pic is talking to 4 folks giving them the full rundown on the boat.

As we are pulling into our final destination, the bay was so very smooth and calm.

Great job on the grow and the documentation. I have switched to Blumats for auto watering in coco/perlite mix and am very happy with them. They are being gravity fed from an elevated 13 gallon reservoir which is working very well. The blumats sense the moisture level of the soil and water accordingly. My next grow may be a vertical grow on 2 opposing walls of a 5x5 tent using led strips.

I tired Blumats a few yrs back, did not work at all for me. Be interesting to hear about your plan to use two walls.

So, these were taken on the 25th day of flower, during minor cleanup, on 12/18. they have been under a 15W CFL since. They were cut and put in water right away. Got one ready to put into the RootRiots cubes by lightly scraping the epidermal layer and splitting the stem to the depth of planting. I then dipped each into rooting gel and inserted the stems into the cubes. Then they were put in the cloner in about an inch of coco.
That was 8 days ago and they still look alright but I don't know what to expect. Am I just spinning my wheels, this was off one of the clones that did not make it from the original 5 and it is a nice looking plant so would like to keep it.

Any thoughts, I really can't keep any more clones but from I have seen I expect them to be ok. I have a few clones of the other plants, each was started with seed, so with these I can give my buddies in the PTSD group a little cheer. I do not have PTSD but I am a vet and when I met the guys a while back it fucking broke my heart. I also make CO, for these guys and also for anyone I can help that may have cancer or other deadly debilitating diseases.
At some point in this country we will all be able to use cannabis as a medicine and I want it to be free for all. I am not a socialist, LOL

Hope to get some pics tonight for an update, we are looking ok.

Just thinking about my setup.
I utilize only 60 to 70% of my 4x4 by running 5 plant screens. I am wondering if I have enough light to utilize the entire tent.
Current 5 plants on screens
Untitled.png
Proposed 6 plants attached to a circular screen on three walls and a movable plant on a screen at the opening of the tent.
Untitled.jpg
With this proposed setup, though I use more of the tent space, will I have enough light to fill the entire tent? The max distance the light would travel is approx. 15", but as the plants grow they will be a lot closer. Currently my plants are growing within 8 to 10" of the lamps.

This is just a maybe, would have to rebuild the stand for the 4x4 tray so I will support my weight, just to add one plant. I think the setup looks cool though.

Day 35 12/12

Just making Hay while the lights shine.
Things are going ok, got a little tip burn. Has to be the Liquid KoolBloom, I am running my base nutes at 0.8 to 1.0 EC, and the only other things added is the Cannazym, Boost, Rhizotonic and Mammoth. Running the LKB @ 7.5 ml/gal. Total EC 1.4 to 1.5. pH has been creeping upward very slowly, It is adjusted to 5.75 to 5.8 and during the nights 4 cycles an it will be 5.9 +/- in the morning. This was the last addition on LKB and when the next solution is put together we will begin adding powder KoolBloom, lite rates till flush.
Pic are broken into two post, three pics of each plant frontal, profile and close up. I did to get a few pics, damn ol' Wake and Bake this morning, two big bowls prior to starting working on the ladies. LOL
Thinking I am going to need something to hold the buds up fairly soon, thinking of just putting this up on each individual screen. 20171228_102459.jpg

This is the back side of #3. This is an interesting plant, it started growing very tall in veg so I go the pliers out and over a foot down the main stem I did a heavy duty super cropping to the right. Everything growing to left of the main cola are branches off the main, in this pic it is reversed. Just from the SC point there are at least 9 nice colas.

Took a couple more clones off #4 today, small down at the bottom of the plant. Hope I can get these flowering clones to take.

I have 5 clones (4 - #1's and one #3) for my next run, they will have about three more weeks growth on them, and not sure if I am going to transplant into Smart Pots or not but I will take some clones off of these also. Here we have the 5 clones in gallon pots, coco. One clone in a clay pot that I am trying to get back to health for my buddy and the cloner which has clones of #5.

That's it for now, about three weeks to go on this run.

Took me months to get my seeds last time, lost and had to reship, only to receive the original order 4 months later. But I ended up receiving double the amt. of seeds so that's cool. They had to of sit either at the post office or customs for months. :wall:
This order was made in late Nov., they said they were behind in shipping, got the email that my order had shipped on the 18th, got here today. Most times it take a good three to 4 weeks plus to get here.
Barneys Farm - 10 each of Triple Cheese and Ayahuasca Purple.

Oh, there were 18 freebies, 4 Autos, and 14 fems. Autos: Fastbud Six Shooter, HWS HIgh Density, Lowrider #2. Fems: C99, Bluberry, WW, RQS Critical, Amnesia, Jack Herrer, and Critical Kush.

Well we are ready for next falls grow, hope to do a multi strain run. Just need to match up genics! I need a room not tents, oh well live in a state where you go to jail for yrs if caught growing. So until that changes small grows will be the order of the day. :-x

So I got some pure coco the other day like your running. Since switching from rdwc to tupur I think I'm getting the hang of it.... I see you don't cut your coir with any perilite; does this make for a more fibrous root system and reduce the feeding frequency?

Yes i run straight Canna Coco. When I ran Hempy's I used coco perlite. Once I switched to straight coco in my Hempy's the next progression for me was drip irrigation and Smart Pots. Not looked back since.
As to if it creates a more fiberious root system, the system using smart pots fills the pots completely. Don't think it reduces irrig. frenquency, as i am on auto drip, Four one minute cycles per light period. First cycle of the day is minimum runoff, but each cycle afterward i get min. of 20% runoff.
Hope that answers your questions.

I just posted this in the 315 CMH forum and would like to get some others thoughts and opinions. I am just beginning to research it.

Thanks Bud,
Good info.
This is the article that got my interest.
https://hightimes.com/grow/grow-hack-does-uv-light-increase-cannabis-potency/

I will try and figure out a way to hang a few T5' UV fixtures. All cost dependent!

Three thoughts,
1. Use 4 or 5 single 18 to 24" T5 fixtures hung vertical between my two 315's.
Here is a sketch to describe.

The distance between the lamps of the lights hung vertically would be about 12 to 18 inches, so I would have room to work on a design for it. But I don't know if that would just throw the light to the center of the plants or cover the entire plants with light?

2. Could hang three or so of them horizontal, just above the tops of the plants but would that light do anything for the buds down lower on the plant?

3. The last 10 days or so, just before starting flush, hang X number of 3 to 4 foot T5 UV fixtures around the CMH bulbs. Run the CMH's for 10 to 11 hours then put the UV lamps around the CMH's and run them for 1 to 2 hrs. They would need to be able to be move when not in use but that would be a simple problem to solve, have room behind screens to tuck them.

Ok all you mad scientist out there let see what we can come up with. LOL bongsmilie
Something to play with while getting very stoned on my SuperCitrusHaze on this cold week we are about to get here.

GR

Edit: Thought, the last X number of days before harvest run the 4' T5's UV's the entire light cycle and remove the CMH!

I have a T5 two lamp reading fixture and bulbs, so I am going to run one plant one week longer and do a 12/12 but maybe do an every other hour 12/12. One hour on, one hour off for 24 hours. Not sure got a few weeks to put it together.
At least for an experiment it won't cost me anything.

I also have a two ft 4 bulb T5 I could do as Pin says and go every other bulb and let the one plant run regular 12/12 cycle for a week.

Update:
Day 41 12/12

The ladies are doing well, thickening daily and the fragrance is lovely.
Not only have I hit the light with the plants and the top of my head, not the first hot lamp tattoo and won't be the last till I get into my grow room. Now the plants are beginning to grow into the lamp, so I netted them on Tuesday.
