Bro, get some: distilled white vinegars contain 5% acetic acid and have a pH of about 2.4.

You should of received a small tool to rotate the calibration wheel inside the meter. Turn on the meter and rotate the wheel until it's dialed to a pH of 2.4 using distilled white vinegar.

And you're calibrated. :weed:

Mine came with a small screwdriver and some packets pH 4,7,10.....All I do is put the meter in the 7.0 solution down to the mark on the meter, just like when you use it). Leave it IN the solution while you turn the little screw in the hole on the back of your meter and adjust it to 7. SOme folks calibrate 2 pH's, but I don't.
If you didnt get solution, you can get it off ebay. Just google: ph calibration solution

I'm just messing around now. I want to reveg these FEMALES and then put them in by Bubbleponice unit.> I chopped everything else but these. One Big Bud & 1 White Widow. I changed the lamp to a 250 mh light, drained & rinsed the tank & cleaned up everything a bit.
I set a re-vegging cycle of 18/6. All I had was some Miracle Grow Quick Start so I added 1 tsp/gal to my pH6 tap water.
Lets see what happens!!!!!!!!

Here's the White Widow

Here's the Big Bud

I chopped the roots as well.

Yeah, me too!!! Hope it works. I'm sweating after i choppen the roots like that and rinsed them in the sink in running tap water, then I untangled the roots and spread them out as much as posible before repositioning them back in the AG holes....STRESS... Hope they survive, fucking weeeds live forever....fingers xx'd...I know it will take a little time to veg, but I know I'll have 2 females (if i dont kill them or turn them hermie). Two should be plenty in my SH bubblepoincs I think.

I gotta say I lost 2 of the remaining plants that died because i fucked up the light cycle. I left the AG hood light on 24/7 for about 2 weeks while the others ran at 15/9, which was okay. But the combo fucked up the plants. They kinda showed some new leaves but I was flushing in plain water so they died. Of the other 4 ( I had 6 females total), I harvested 2 & cropped the 2 I'm revegging.
I have approx 2.4 dry and another, I imagine 1/2 oz+ of good bud drying. The 2 that died, I am drying for maybe some gumby hash along with the trim I saved from this little grow.

This is great! I've been wondering how well the plants would respond to this process and now you're doing it!

Love experimentation!! :weed:

I'm gonna try it when I get the chance & see if it works for me.

I'm anxious to see this. I've seen lots of threads on RE-Vegging or REjuvanation, or bringing back to VEG then BLOOM again, after harvesting the buds. They were successful. I tried it twice and lost patience.

Easy Calibration

I've been asked is there an easy way to calibrate a pH meter for precise accuracy. I decided to have me a shot of Scotch while I was mulling it over and then it came to me. Use a shot glass! I'm just kidding, I don't drink liquor, but I did use a shot glass.

I simply pour the 4.0 Calibration solution in the shot glass, as seen here. I found the little funnel at the local department store.

I got a reading of 4.64, so I REMOVED IT FROMT HE SOLUTION, used the enclosed micro screw driver and adjusted it to read 4.0, with a turn and a half counter clockwise of the little adjustment screw.

Then I returned the 4.0 Calibration Solution to it's original bottle and did the same thing with the 6.8 Calibration Solution. When I tested the 6.8 Calibration Solution, I got a reading of 7.0 so I simply turned the adjustment screw a half turn counter clock wise. Then I tested the 4.0 solution again, and it read 3.98 and that was close enough to 4.0 for me.

The meter measures the pH within 3 or 4 seconds, and it also measures the temperature of the water. Like any thermometer, it does take 3 minutes to determine the temperature of the water. I don't think I will ever experience Nutritional Lockout again.

I'm goint to upload some pix in a few minutes. my AG pump got hot and my water temp went to 79. This has happened a couple times. I figured root clog. I watched the video on the AG site and followed ALL the instrunctions. When I put it back together and plugged it in the put is making a loud buzzing noize. I cleaned it a couple more times and I guess I need to call AG cust svc tomorrow. I know i SHOULD HAVE just unplugged the pump and forgot about it but i dont like things not to work.

I put the 2 plants a bucket supported with hydroton and an air pump and the MG Quick Start. The ppm 12 around 1150, pH 6.0 & water temp 72.

I am germing 2 White Widow & 2 Big Buds in paper towels with bottled water and in tupperware. Nowif these little buds reveg, I'll put everything in the 6 gal SH bubbleponic setup. If not just the 4 fem seedlings if they all make it.
We'll see.

One peeking out, setting in a 1 gal tub of Hydroton, MG Quick Start and pH'd water with a 4" airstone under the the trimmed roots.

The hydroton is holding them up; see the bubly water?

I set this up today and I'll let it run without anything in it to break it in and get the hang of how it
functions and the best way to work with it. A test drive i guess.
Here's where they are going if they make it.

Me too. I have no idea, especially with the hell they have been thru the past few days. They may not make it. I have seeds germing anyway.

Is it necessary to calibrate 2 numbers? Why not just pH7 and be done with it? You know?

You sound like a pot head!!!
