Whoa! Just when I thought trying to clone Bubba was tough. Dan how do you do your clones? What have you found the most success with?
Stick the cutting in dip n grow solution for 5-10 seconds, stick in small individually wrapped rockwool cubes. Keep humidity dome on until you start seeing roots pop through everywhere. Keep heating pad under clones. Make sure temperature is reasonably consistent. It's very important to start with a healthy mom.

If you do all this you'll get a ~95% success rate with most strains.

About what temp am I shooting for and do you keep the clones under a T5 with the dome on or?

I try (and frequently fail in cold weather) to keep mine around 75. And yes, t5's and domes. I don't have fancy t5's, just the ones you get at a hardware store for $10 that you have to wire yourself. I think the $200 t5 setups the hydrostores try and push are total overkill. One or two bulbs going over them are just fine, no fancy reflection stuff needed.

I just use a two bulb 4 ft shop light. I made my own humidity domes because the ones from the hydro shop are too small. I dip in rooting powder then into rockwool cubes. I use a heating pad but I prefer a warm room. I find that the heating pads really dry the cubes out and I have to keep an eye on them. I generally end up watering them at day 3 and 6

I find the greatest success when I have healthy mothers (Most important), steady temps, the cubes aren't too wet and the air isn't stagnant. My domes are big so there is more air in with them, and I open them every day and fan them for a few minutes. I get about 90% success between 6 - 10 days. 100% by 14 days.

Test results in. 18.3%. Very average. Doesn't yield that good. Fantastic bag appeal and flavor.

Love the buds, but I'm going to put this strain in the more trouble than it's worth category.
