when do you like to harvest best? Milkey, some amber, mostly amber, or all amber? whats the best choice. thanks

i like about 70% amber, but some plants can vary

half and half but it depends on the high you want body high or heady high

i kinda want mostly head high, but still some body high

I'm at the end of my second grow. Last time out I went with 50% milky/50% amber but I was growing from bagseed and didn't know what to expect. From the stone I get I'd say that was about right. Wohoo!

That is a question you have to answer for yourself and not ask someone else to answer it for you.

When you go out to eat do you ask someone to order your meal for you based on their tastes?

What type of high or buzz do you prefer and what strain/hybrid are you growing?

If YOU prefer more of a head high then harvest when your trichs are milky. If YOU prefer a couch-lock/body buzz with less of a head high then harvest when your trichs are amber. If YOU like something in between then harvest when you have a mix of milky and amber trichs.

Now even doing that will only do so much for your final results. You cannot take a pure or mostly sativa and let the trichs turn amber and turn it into a heavy indica-like couch-lock body buzz, you will get a little of it but mostly just lower the ceiling on the sativa head high. Also you cannot take a heavy indica and harvest when milky and turn it into a ceiling-less ultra clear head high. You will get more of a high from it than if you wait for the trichs to turn amber but you will still have mostly a couch-lock body buzz.

So the MOST important thing is to pick a strain/hybrid that fits YOUR tastes and then fine tune it according to YOUR tastes and not rely on others to tell YOU what YOU will like the best or be the best because what is the best is only what is best to YOU and to YOU alone.

That is unless you are growing to sell your product and then you will never be able to satisfy everyone so if that is the case just flip a coin and go with it.
