Is it time to harvest?

Alright...based on the micro pics Homegrowguy posted of the Trichs I was making an educated internet guess, hence why I asked for actual pics of the flowers themselves. Based on the Trichs being cloudy with some amber interspersed here and there I still say harvest.

Homegrowguy then posted 2 week old purple grow light lit pics of the flowers which for me doesn't tell me anything tho everyone started opinionating on the 2 week old flower pics.

Does everyone realize that the flower pics he posted are 2 weeks old? Just curious...Oh and I like the Carson Zorb pics I am going to ask Santa for one of those!

Cheers and Merry Christmas!

Here's a photo of the grow as is right now. Got a camera setup in my tent so it's not the best clarity but you can get a better idea of the current state.

Awesome...thanks for that pic but, as you said, the clarity leaves a lot to be seen! Still hard to tell without a zoom but it appears fan leaves are turning and your flowers are mature.

Meh just my humble opinion with an internet guess!

Cheers

I'll post some more photos when I get home in about an hour or so. Really glad that this post has received so much feedback. Thanks again!

Really depends on strain.. Some shit will lock you on the couch with fully cloudy trichs.

Watch it, it will start to look cloudy and the plastic shine ( @ktmac20 good one) turns into a sticky looking wax. From then on you need to keep an eye on the trichs (calyx only), they will look melted and oval looking once they start degrading.

Few examples to help you learn what degrading trichs look like

-10% clear
-70% cloudy
-20% melted out of round

-10% clear
-70% cloudy
-20% amber/red/purple ect and it will also be "out of round"

Strangely, the pics seem like they are three separate stages of growth. Definitely not 2 weeks, probably more like 3-4 in.

Something is weird about the OP. Look.

Who removes a Scrog in the middle of a grow? The Scrog pic is the older one.

Does anyone else think something is weird about this?

I had to flush one plant and therefore had to remove the screen and plant from the tent. They didn't seem like they were getting any taller so I left it off.

Also, one photo was taken with my phone and another with a DLink camera.

Gotcha. Yeah, now that I'm better oriented and know that the white pistil pic is older, probably 1-2 weeks more. For the final swell. Watch for the pistils to retract a bit.

I'm a bit worried about the right plant. I think I burned it a bit with nutes. The leaves are browning/yellowing a lot. Is there anything I can do to remedy this?
Not at this point. Just let her finish out, should be fine. I wouldn't feed her anymore from this point until harvest, though.

Ok...Now that we have the "BIG" picture I have to agree...The pistils are nice and red tho they haven't withdrawn, the only thing really that you are waiting on is the swell of the calyce's!

Just my personal preference I find it so hard to see detail with a plant highlighted in LED or HPS colored lights!

Keep an eye on your Trich's still tho!

The fan leaves will start to wither and yellow as a natural affect of plant and flower maturation...AKA "old age"

Cheers

HAHAHA...Nice detective work! I did not even notice the differences I was focusing on the plant development!

Hey y'all,

I wanted to post a few photos of the finished product. I think it came out really well. I may have harvested a little early as the majority of the trichomes were still milky white and I wanted the majority to be amber colored but the leaves were turning brown and I got nervous.

Anyway, I've attached some photos for y'all to enjoy!

Feel free to send feedback!
