Harvesting in the heat?

I think it is gettuing close to harvest time for my first little grow attempt, and I was told by someone that it is better to harvest the plants on a hot day, as this causes the resin to move up to the flowering parts. Is this true or does it not really matter? Anything I can do to more effectively harvest my little crop would be great.

There's nothing true about that, the resin is only in the trichomes, and doesn't move anywhere around the plant.

Harvest your plants when it's most convenient for you. :bigjoint:

I remember someone saying not to harvest at night because the plants are transpiring so you bring them in "wet" and it increases the chance for mold. I will have to harvest at night because I have an outdoor grow, off site.
