ok so while im harvesting i have a humidifier on low keeping the humidity up and also have a fan blowing out the air in the room. is the humidifier good while harvesting? oh and i have a 70 watt hps flood above it and a flourescent fixture standing vertically to light the side of the plant as well. both on timers at 12 on 12 off. good idea?

NO, it is not good to have a humidifier on... unless ou wan your buds to get moldy?

After you harvest your plants you do ot need nor should have the lights on THEM..

:)

so my mistake the plant is 8 weeks into flowering i havent cut it yet and today i just purchase a thermo/humidity meter and plant on keeping the humidity around 55-60 and the temp from 70-80. any thoughts? i have an exhaust fan runnning witht he humdifier fan.

you may will need that exhaust vent but not the humidifier, i actually have to use a dehumidifier in my grow to prevent molt to start.

what u want is 40-50% humidiy for the best taste and a 5-7 day drying time is normally best i find then cure in jars it will get the smell back as well if it looses the smell

so u think that 20% relative humidity is too low when hanging to dry ???

what about having a relative humidity 0f around 20% when curing inside of the jar ???


with TEMPS at around 60 degrees ...
