When making hash oil using the Pipe and Butane extraction method how dry does the weed/trimmings need to be?:leaf:

i make sure they is super dry as if you were gunna smoke them
if not it will be harder for the butane to extract through the wet parts
resulting in a lower grade hash

Is there any way to dry the product (weed/trimmings)quickly in order to prepare to make the hash oil? Will quick drying effect the final product? (hash oil)

I'm sure quick drying will effect it, but minuscule amounts you will never notice either way. As long as your drying process doesn't remove any thc bro. Wish I was there to smoke that with ya.....damn can't wait to make some myself. Some bubblicious honey oil!! woot!
As for drying it, try putting it between to oven racks (not in the oven) and place a fan under it. There are some other ways too, just an example.:weed:

Has anyone used both the Butane and Isopropyl extraction methods? Any positives/negatives between the two? Which method is preferred/recomended?

GrowTech

stays relevant.
Quick drying isn't going to affect this method if you use a quick-dry cab such as the one in my signature. Now if you try to quick dry it using a microwave or something silly like that, expect poor results.

butane is preferred. Ive do both depending on the final produce I want ie honey oil, earwax, goo etc
