dry ice is just ok for me. if you have the bag set follow the directions. the micron size is your personal preference, bigger holes allow more plant material, smaller ones restrict this to trichomes only often.
cold water works without the mechanical beating. its only there to chill the weed nothing else, and I saw a miniature washing machine do the task it blew my mind and quality was tops too compared to my hand/drill beaten bucket/dry ice/water etc.

I guess one put material and then ice and let be fro about 5 minutes before you "shake-it" for about 5 minutes = grade #1 - second run = grade 2 ? If this correct (just using 160) did you check out that site ?

I dont soak it, not trying to extract anything only cool it so the waxy trichomes break off easily, instead its frozen then dunked then agitated then drained through the bags

I use extra buds but you can use any material. dry it thoroughly and break it up gently, freeze, dunk, stir/agitate, pour through micron bags of choice, keep your fancied kief (mine comes from the gold bag..... )

great information ! after looking at bubble hash "runs' = lot of work - Kief box's (small one's?) but tumblers run $450..00 or do

Ive doing dry ice hash for a long while now.

I use a 180 mc bag. Shake for about 3 mins (if doing trim) or 5 mins (for bud). Longer than that and you turn it all too dust.

Dont run it again. Again... just dust. Use the left over to make canna butter instead.

When I make it I use the 220bag with fresh frozen material, shake it for 30seconds to 1 minute for your first run of hash that can hang with any other method, then shake again to get the rest for a lower grade hash...but the first run turned to like a tootsie roll consistency and color, like that old school Moroccan hash

have read and look at video's - dry ice seems to be the easiest and fastest way. really confused on what bag/bags' (micron) to use.understand the "grade" depends on the micron side (A - B- C grades?) thanks for information - all helps !!!!. Then frozen or cured ? Moroccan Hash !!! "Hashish by Clark - interesting book

You can get bubble bag sets that come in several bags ......each screen is different grade of bubble hash ......I throw my hash material in the freezer and then use cold water and regular bags of ice ......agitate to get all the goodies to break off and that's it image.jpgimage.jpg image.jpg

All different colors and types depending on strain and screen .....those are all my personal cookies ....so it's not the best looking stuff.....but delicious none the less .......all that made sitting by a bucket with friends/family just smoking and taking our time .......but I enjoy cold water hash ....so it's kinda like a BBQ .....but making hash instead lol

Of course all those pics are off google and this is for entertainment purposes only

I find 180 mc is a sweet spot for getting a good yield and less leaf material in the mix. The finer the screen the better the quality but you lose on yield.

I use fresh frozen too. I also used to use a 220 but it broke and i couldnt find another right away so i took a 180 that the guy had.

See all the leaf i got when the bag broke

My theory on using the 220 bag is that the trichs are more brittle then the leaf material and will fall off before the material breaks down enough to make it through the screen and the 220 will let the trichs fall through easily so with just a little bit of agitation you can get a lot if just trichs to fall through, I always got some really nice black soft hash that way
