:mrgreen::mrgreen: Ok so i got some miracle gro bone meal today.

My question is why is there 6% water insoluble nitrogen( slowly available N from porcine bone meal)
What does that mean? Also i thought bone meal should have less N in it. This has me worried because im using it in late week 5 of flower.

However i am pleased with the 7% calcium in there, this should help out with bud size.

Bone meal is generally non soluble. this means that the phosphorous is not in an ionic form and cannot be absorbed by the plant until soil born bacteria break it down further. Most all organic nutrients are like this with the exception of guano and kelp meal.

Miracle grow likes it when growers see an immediate burst of life as soon as the bone meal goes in so they add nitrogen and a bit of soluble phosphorous as well. I have a bag my buddy gave me and it works fine but runs hot and released much faster than typical bone meals (good indoors, not as good outdoors).
