Haven't seen this before. Can someone diagnose?

Candy kush in 10 gal. coco. Using botanicare 3part. It almost looks like something is taking chunks out of the leaves but i have not seen and pests. I just used a baking soda foliar spray a week ago to help prevent PM due to the fact my buddy recently had a issue.

Thanks for the help!

Hey I can't see your photos do you mean that the leaves look like they are deformed and aren't growing properly? This is caused potentially by both ph problems and magnesium deficiencies.. You are running the botanicare lineup in coco and what ph are you feeding your plants at? When running coco coir you need to heavily increase cal-mag ramp it up to 8-10 ml/gal should solve your problem coco coir needs to be run around 5.8 ph for optimal results

Also powdery mildew is a pain the butt.. Lower your humidity first off!!! Then either get green cure and run max dose only spraying once every 3-5 days let leaves dry out after you spray them down it is important you saturate the leaves both tops and underneath them heavily to kill it!! People don't realize powdery mildew not only grows on the leaves but it gets stored inside the stems and walls of your plants use silica blast and make sure you run organics cal-mag and microbes such as great white or subculture to promote a healthy root zone that will help kill the PM from inside out..

If the green cure doesn't work you need to get regular r/o water or good tap water and ph it to 9.5 then saturate the entire plant top to bottom and that will kill it as well you can do one or other.. Problem with products like green cure or other fungicidal sprays is after awhile of using them constantly it's like a virus it only gets stronger and becomes immune to that crap then you're screwed I would try the 9.5 ph water and lower your humidity immediately to dry the room out.. Only way PM grows is by giving it the environment it needs to thrive.. You need to inoculate your root zone with beneficials and get nice healthy root zone and that will make a huge difference in battling the PM issue you are having.. BOL cheers!

Ahh I just looked at your pics that definitely ph problem!! Lower your ph! I'm assuming you are at 6.0 or higher? Need to be down in the 5.8 range in coco.. Also check your runoff after you feed see where it's at.. Then adjust as needed

With the silver trails on the leaves try looking on the UNDERSIDE of the leaves for insects/tiny coloured dots, kinda looks like thrip damage

Have you noticed any tiny flies in your tent flying about?

so you're anticipating pm, but you don't have it? just keep your rh at normal range, and no worries. as mentioned, ph to 5.8. i use coco, and keep it at 5.8 throughout grow. how often are you feeding? are you allowing for run-off? i don't like putting small plants into huge containers. i end up transplanting about 3-4 times, so the plants slowly end up in their final pot. for being in coco, your stuff looks pretty dry. to get optimal results, you should be feeding often. i usually start feeding daily towards the end of veg.

When you run coco you really need to be down in that 5.8 range I find they respond a lot better to coco in that range.. Also when running coco you need to feed everyday I find with mine that's why I don't run it anymore.. I find that deficiencies are more common and they require a shit ton of feedings and watering a bol

I use a low pressure drip system about a gal an hour. Feeding every other day. I usually go from cube to Dixie cup to 2 gal to final 10gal.

What amount of water would you recommend for 10 gal pots.

Yeah you really need to feed everyday in coco man.. It's how it is.. I don't like coco I use it in small amounts in my promix or sometimes I run sunshine #4 which has it in there but primarily pest based products for me.. Keep it simple.. Coco is finicky and I have ne'er seen any better results running it in my experience but that's just me

This is my first time with coco. Iv been pretty steady on ocean forest with a little light warrior mixed in.

wow pk! i've always had great results with coco. keep your ph/run-off/feeding steady, and you should do fine. i started in soil, but will never go back...

Oh I'm not saying I had bad results I'm saying I ran coco and never got anything different than when I run peat.. I just don't think it's worth the added feedings and watering a etc.. Nothing wrong w coco at all I just prefer promix and peat based mediums.. Just my personal pref.
