When the lights are on its 71.5 degrees in the room. Night temps are around 60. would this cause them to not drink their water and possibly look a little sick? Weather will be warming up within 3 weeks and i didn't want to purchase a heater for the room. Do you think I have to? Was going to water them but idk if i should if the pots are still heavy.

no, do NOT water. remember rarely do plants die from underwatering, & u KNOW it doesnt need it, u said so urself; trust ur instinct! BRAVO for using the best watering method=water by weight. Those temps r very low for daytime. 78 is ideally what they like but they can tolerate a range of temps, but yes that can cause ur plant to slow uptake of water as it doesnt need that much. next time when u know ur temps r going to run that low, simply water less at each watering, instead of all the way through till u can pick up the temps or they r later...like in flowering where there uptake of water increases dramatically. imo its not cold enough to call for a heater. r u using fans on them? this should expedite the drying as well & make sure the air circulation up & around the top of the pot stays fresh. a bit sickly? u would have to post pics for further recommendations.

here's some pics. So they finish their 1st week of flowering tomorrow. on day 1 i transplanted them from 1 gallons to 7 gallons (sunshine #4/perlite/lime mix). All i got to feed them after the transplant was some great white mixed in ro water. so I've been worried since its soiless that they havent been getting the nutes they want all week and the pots are still wet and heavy. guess ill have to wait a few more days. really want to give them some root exellerator, liquid karma, superthrive, aquashield, and some grow to ammend their fresh soil but you convinced me to wait! thanks i needed that!

thats a long time for no wattering in sunshine mix #4. u need to be adding nutes as well. your set up has potential to do huge things. i think your day time temps could be alot higher.

for real! I've even added 25% more perlite so I could water more often than just sunshine # 4. Today the weather made it seem that it will be warming up soon. Cant even get heaters at wally world rite now they stocked their shelves with fans already. just bought a 8 burner co2 generator and will be hooking it up when it arrives. these temps need to rise. My last grow, some of the plants went completely yellow because the temps were soo low and the plants werent drinking anything i gave them!

not sure but its a huge room, like 5000 cubic feet. With that sentinel controller hooked up to my exhaust for cooling and a dehumidifier for dehumidifying, i dont even bother checking up on it. if i had to guess its around 62%. what do u suggest me setting the controller at for day/night humidity?

same one i ordered there buddy. did urs come with 8 burners as well. on horticulturesource.com it says they use to come with 5 but now 8! I live in northern cali so keeping the temps around 80-85 wont be a problem at all, once this rainy shit has past!

damn i hate hanging things on this rickity old latter and my 12' ceiling. ^^^^^drainage problems???? what made you think that? its sunshine 4 with 25% more perlite. drainage problems i think not. as for nutes. I was/am using botanicare cns17 for coco/soiless, but im thinking of switching to bcuzz hydro a+b formula. Has anybody had experience with it? I hear its really worth it but im skepticle for some reason. these plants will be the last for soil grows. Im in the process of filling the room with ebb n gro pots.
