Hey folks...not sure if this is post worthy or not.

As a result of ongoing litigation and uncertainty arising from court decisions, Health Canada will treat the following Authorizations to Possess, Personal-Use Production Licences, and Designated-Person Production Licences as extending beyond March 31, 2014 until a decision in Allard is rendered. As per the Federal Court interim injunction, the following criteria must be met:

  • Individuals must have held a valid Authorizations to Possess under the MMAR on March 21, 2014.
  • Individuals must have held a valid Personal-Use Production Licence or Designated-Person Production Licence under the MMAR on, or after, September 30, 2013, where there is also an associated valid ATP as of March 21, 2014.
Individuals with a medical need who do not fall within the scope of this court order and who have the support of a licensed healthcare practitioner may register with a licensed producer under the MMPR. See below for information on how to access marijuana for medical purposes from a licensed producer.

So your ATP ha to be good until on the date of March 21, and you're PPL had to expire after Sept. 30th/13. So you're only legal if both of these rules are met? Forgive me MMAR patients, I'm not MMAR so i didn't follow all of this as closely as i should have.

No, your ATP has to be valid on or before March 21st AND if you have a DG/ppl. Your dg/ppl had to be valid on or after Sept 30 2013. Both of my licences were dated November 21, 2013.

That should be your APT must have been valid on March 21 2014 or after March 21 2014. If it Expired on March 20th 2014 or earlier you can't grow legally.

Your DG/PL would have have been valid on Sept 30 2013 or later. If it expired on Sept 29th then you're not covered even if you had a valid ATP on or after March 21 2014.

Now it does make sense as how can you grow if you can't legally posses.

Ignore that HC non sense. They aren't in charge anymore....SC is now...
HC wants to make rules to a system they say they won't recognize and doesn't exist anymore. Sorry HC but you can't have it both ways.
The real decider now is our hopefully clever judge. Unless your outta control growing hundreds of plants...it's not likely the police will do much if you have slightly expired PPL paperwork..once again IMO

I agree with you Hippy 100%. If the police want to go at a patient for a lapse in paperwork that is well documented to take months upon months to have filled out and returned from Health Canada why should they be put in a situation of anxiety or insecurity? My doctor purposely tried to force me into the MMPR by refusing to sign my PPL papers in February 2013 because he partnered with an LP to drum up business. I am in a legal grey area. My 25 plants are my business and im in the business of taking care of my disability and nothing else matters to me. I grow for myself and produce wonderful crops of bountiful organic medicine...good goddamn honey oil too

6 months old, all they added was the "on going litigation"

I expired 20days before the injunctions...candles still burning ;)

I don't understand why you didn't renew your licence? Did you think we would lose the injunction?
I wasnt as involved as i am now. I didnt know anything about a injunction happening. I didnt renew because i wouldnt of had time to get a round of plants through. Something i constantly kick myself in the ass about. On the other hand my doctor is still fully supportive and provided a note for GPD/Plant Count under the CDSA. Ive recently been given advice to go to a lawyer and get it notorized.

That actually should be fine. According to the law that's basically how an exemption works. They've given doctors the authority.

My thing with extracts boils down to "who the fuck will know?"
Half of it looks like normal baked goods, normal honey, olive oil, butter, etc.

At what point do I expect someone to stop me and ask to take a sample of my jar of honey for testing so they can determine if it has cannabis in it?

I'm not selling them, sharing them or anything else - I just use them myself in the comfort of my own home.

Is there a particular method for infusing the honey that works well for you? I have been looking into it as raw, unpasteurized honey has a lot of health benefits on its own and I can only imagine how combining it with cannabis could have a great outcome. just wondering your method as it took me a few goes to find a technique for making canna caps that delivered the most potent capsules.

I'm looking at doing it myself next time around, especially since I live 5 minutes from an incredible honey manufacturer.
The first time around we got it from Bud Buddy (mail order) and I found that it was good and it seemed to have bonded well, but whatever they used to make it was definitely on the mellow side, so all benefits of the tea were relaxing and put me on my ass. I'm hoping to make some with a sativa and see if I can get better results as, unfortunately, I work about 14 hours a day and cannot afford to be on my ass unable to work.

From what I understand, you simply put the cannabis in a cheesecloth, in a crockpot and leave it for X hours.
I know that some people have issues with it coming out too thick, while others struggle with how much to use.
I figure I'll fill half a crockpot with honey and use an oz and see what happens.
