Heat or no heat evaping QWISO

I'm doing my first QWISO run right now. I've already filtered into a glass evaporating container and most of the iso has evaped while sitting outside. I was going to bring it inside to my bathroom to complete the evape. I hear conflicting reports about using heat to evape. I was thinking about sitting my container on top of a heating pad (low heat) to finish the evape. Would this be recommended or not? I've heard some reports that heat reduces potency.

Will the heat speed up the evape? Would it be better without any heat at all? On a side note: I couldn't believe how sticky everything got. I guess that's a good sign?

Unless your boiling it you might see better results (faster evaporation) with a desk fan on high straight over the ISO. Breaking that barrier will allow for the evaporation to speed up. (heat and fan would be fastest)

Personally we fan it until dry then less than 90F in the vac to get any h20 out.

Ive tried fan only evap, water baths and hotplate.

I prefer the hotplate. keep it at 120 or lower on qwiso temps and it takes like a hour to evap. scrape to center and let it sit at 110 for about 30mins or so to get any last iso out. Scraped to a nice sap/bend and snap consistency.

Air evap only usually ends up more powdery when scraped. i reheat to around 100 and then scrape to center and let sit again for about 30mins, checking its tackiness.
