Heat Stress Questions

I was wondering if heat stress could cause the bud hairs to turn brown..

I've been having heat issues and I was wondering if this could contribute to the white hairs on the buds to turn brown prematurely? Any help is very much appreciated.

Yes, enough heat can cause the stigmas to darken. It would likely be worst towards the top of the plant, where the heat is often the worst.

Certainly have had this happen from buds being too close to the light for an extended period of time, kinda looked like the bud had been smoked already and it got real hard and brittle. Leaves are usually the first to show signs of heat stress though, how do they look?

heat can do that, but so can pollination. a pic would be helpful. how far along are they and how long is their expected bloom period?
