Ive got a decent size room, i have to use a heater because its cold around this time and i have a 6 in carbon filter and its going into the veg room which is in the same room. where do i put the outlet of the carbon filter so that i maximize keeping heat granted it can only be a short term solution.

Do you run air cooled hoods? Also are you planning on piping exhaust outside?

My room vents outside and gets cold as well this time of year. I need to keep a negative pressure in my room to keep the smells locked into the room so I vent through carbon filter then air hoods then outside. During cold times I partially disconnect the exhaust line so that 50% of the air goes outside and 50% stays in the room keeping it warm and at the same time I keep a negative pressure........works great

I run led's so i dont use it for anything else, id like to vent it outside i just feel like thats sucking all the heat out of the room and just making my heater have to come on more often.

Just have the carbon filter sitting on the floor scrubbing the room dont vent it otherwise you are venting heated air
