*helicopters got me all freaked out*

is your house known for drug activity?

do you throw any grow related materials in the weekly trash collection?

the FBI and state only goes for big fish... with all the high tech gadgets

the local boys rely on TIPS and angry/jealous girlfriend/"friends" or the snoopy old lady in the neighborhood who's view of weed was created by "reefer madness" and the news media

Your friend doesn't know the FIRST thing about how FLIR cameras work. He got you worried for no reason with stunningly inaccurate and uneducated information.

i'd say... DON'T 'relax on it'... as FDD already pointed out, your grow has major problems. you are exhausting untreated air outside and your neighbors or anyone else passing by can see a mega bright light through your uncovered window.

if a helicopters buzzing ur place, it may be because someone has already picked up on one of your mistakes.

i used to kill my lights whenever i heard a helicopter flying on a course that would put it over my house. i moved from there... but better safe than sorry.

My exhaust has a good quality carbon filter so no smell leaving the window that would be noticed. Secondly there is completely no light leakage as i have a tent. It's just ackward watering as i need to open the tent. Depending on where the sun is, in the morning it shines bright at the window, i can open the tent up with no problems. As i said earlier i'm going to be using some blackout binds and will test this if sucessful then my problem for prunning watering times will be solved. I would not vent untreated air straight out of the window!

Well what i throw away in the local trash fits in one bin linner once every couple of months so no probs there. Yep it seems ok have been fine for over two years, it was that helecopter that freaked me a bit...''

i thought if they used binoculars
they could maybe see into the window ya! but then why would they be looking at a small window out of hundreds etc
