Hello from NC / What made you decide to grow?

Hi guys

I moved here about a year ago and after 20+ years of access from friends, I'm starting to have some serious withdraw (lol). The thought of ever growing seems such a daunting task, especially I was such a low quantity personal user (.5 oz lasted me like 4 months).

So I guess I'm wondering what made you growers take the plunge and spend all of the time, money, worry, etc. on this hobby?

Hey, welcome to rollitup! I just joined as well and I'm planning my own grow since I'd rather not buy my own and just love a good project. This site is a great resource and I hope you find it as useful as I do! The task of growing seems very daunting to start but keep reading, it gets far easier when you start learning!

Welcome to Rollitup. I grow because I like it.

I decided to start growing because I was tired of paying for bud. I've got a few more weeks before I know how it'll all pan out, but my plant's into flowering and I'm excited. Never thought it would actually be this easy. If you want my advice, jump in and start growing. As long as you can keep it quiet, you'll be fine, and you'll find it to be a fun hobby.
